    She gave a long and interesting interview for a German radio a month ago and when the interviewer asked if she was looking to the direction of a possible 6th Olympic participation, she clearly said yes (but now things depend on the virus). I have so much respect for Aliona.

They'll miss the test skate.

    I vividly remember the CoC incident because I was watching the Eurosport broadcast on TV, it was midday on a Saturday. The accident looked horribe and I felt very worried about Yuzu, but at the same time I admired his willpower and fighting spirit when he decided to skate. I understood why he wanted to skate. He got to the GPF and won his second gold medal a few weeks later, which was so important for him.

    Yes, the decision so far is no Japanese skaters at JGP and Challenger competitions until Budapest Trophy in mid-October, which is a week before the first GP event, Skate America.

    Our sports channel also bought rights for Worlds but they won't broadcast the thing today, they broadcast past Olympic Games these days instead, including men's free skate from PyeongChang on 14 July so I am not complaining. It's also warm here today, I am going to go to swimming but then a storm will come around the time the YuzuSkatingParty comes so maybe I will be back home by then and can watch the stream. If not then I will join you a bit later.

    Swiss German sounds very different and usually I can only understand a few words or short sentences from it. Stephane speaks regular German so it's easier to understand what he says. Alexia will fit in well with her cooking skills
