Happy 10th anniversary Yuna skated two perfect programs and won her Olympic gold medal with three world record scores, Mao landed three triple Axels in her programs and won the silver, Joannie Rochette also did her best and won a medal after her mother tragically died just days before the short program - the quality of the event was high, it was a great event. I can hardly believe it's been ten years already.

I think it is strange that Schizas doesn't go to either Junior Worlds or senior Worlds. If Nam was selected over Roman because of 4CC results why Schizas couldn't get selected to any of the events? She got 164 at Bavarian Open (junior) and won the event there, and beat Bausback at Challenge Cup by more than 20 points where she got the bronze medal and Emily finished 11th. Bausback's score at 4CC wasn't that good either, 147

A week because it's leap year...that's not that much, time will fly by! We'll see Yuzu soon again.

Igen, nagyon sok fan készített videót a GPF-ről is. Sokszor több mindent látni azokon mint a hivatalos felvételeken, én is szeretem nézni őket Én is készítettem pár videót Torinoban, az éremátadóról és a gáláról, a versenyprogramokról nem szoktam kamerázni (a gáláról is csak azért mert elég messze ültem és kamerával követtem Yuzut, aztán utána vissza is néztem rögtön úgy, hogy jobban rá volt zoomolva a kamera ). A fancameken jól át lehet élni a programot, és a kosztümök is nagyon szépen csillognak, tényleg olyan mint jobban ott lenne az ember.

She is Mami Yamada who taughed Yuzu when he first started skating at the age of 4. She still works as a coach, in Hokkaido. She was in the 24h TV last year, here's a clip with her and Yuzu:

Happy 2nd anniversary of Yuzu skating to the best free skate ever at the Olympics level and winning his second Olympic gold medal The 17th was a beautiful sunny and quite warm day in Gangneung with barely any clouds on the sky, it only started to get much colder when the sun went down and we headed to PyeongChang for the medal ceremony. I remember my fingers were freezing while we were waiting there but every second was worth it. I will never forget those moments and feelings when Yuzu stepped on the podium and got his gold medal, and after that the anthem was played for him. Mine will arrive in a week or so. I can't wait for it.

Plush has so much charisma and confidence on the ice and this program was lot of fun. Everyone was waiting for it when he skated to it many times in the 2000s at galas and after that at shows. That's my video that I took in 2018 when Plush came to my town for a show. Before this show, I saw him once in person, at Europeans 2004 (which was again in my town) when he lost to Joubert with his Nijinsky program, so after 14 years I couldn't resist and go to that show to see him again He still has so much charisma, he is the type of skater that you can't take your eyes off when he skates. He also skated to Tribute to Nijinsky there, with Edvin Marton. Sex Bomb was fun but I think it wasn't appropiate for a 4-year-old kid like Sasha. Sasha skated to Crazy frog too which was cute though.

It was! It's a difficult one but they played it really well. I enjoyed it a lot. They put a lot of effort and work into this concert and it showed. It is beautiful to see how many people Yuzu inspires, including artists as well

I also finished watching Music with Wings, it was brilliant. The whole production was really high quality and the musicians are very good. I loved some of the early songs, From Russia with Love, Sing Sing Sing or Firebird, and the one that I loved the most was the Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. Does anyone know what were the two pieces starting from 7 min 7 seconds, and then after that, from 8 min 46 secs? (It's not Amazonic or Spartacus?). I loved Requiem and Seimei at the end was fantastic, too. Thank you for the upload, @Umebachi!

It seems the partnership with Novoselov wasn't working... Stolbova has achieved a lot, Olympic gold in team and silver in individual, Worlds medalist, GPF winner etc...I am going to miss her skating, she was definitely my favourite Russian pair skater in the past years. All the best to her! About Konstantinova, I am curious how the coaching change will work out for her, she had struggles with Chebotareva this season.

Who knows what was in the contract, maybe he could only use it in 2016/2017 season. I haven't seen anyone doing it in figure skating, it could overshadow or even make fun of the skater who originally skates to the program.

I actually can't really imagine him skating to NDP somehow, still voted for the 'former competition program' option because of the basilica xD (I don't really like the costume though, the big cross ruins it for me.....I only like the colours). I wouldn't be surprised if he skated to something else though. Legal reasons possibly? Prince was known for being strict with using his music and he had many copyright issues.

Yes. I think it's likely he'll skate to ND because of the basilica in Montreal.
