I kinda feel like people are setting themselves up for a disappointment expecting the 4A...

Same I watched it 3 times before I assured myself that it is indeed a triple

Nah, we're fine. We've just learned to NOT trust the troll in the skating rink when it comes to layout. 

We'll see when the actual full media day program gets revealed. Last year people guessed 4Lz just because his layout seemed off, just a tad bit.

These choices just show how much of an auteur vision Yuzuru has now. He is not only using some of the iconic programs in the past of figure skating, but he is also making them about his own personal history as a figure skating fan. I'm #TeamYagudin all the way so I have to stay on brand and be excited more about Otonal but I can't to wait to see how Yuzuru will approach Plushenko's most Plushkenko program and make it his own  It's probably his most challenging choice after Hope & Legacy. I feel like we are about to witness something very special and I can't wait.

I have to admit i was a bit worried that my dear husband Hydroblade would disappear after the time reduction for the FS but i'm happy that it's still there

And i don't think i can put in words just how much i am loving this, my heart feels all wrapped up in fluffy Hanyu clouds. I'm just imagining how gorgeous it will be, all the feelings and emotions that he will express with these programs. I fully expect to be hit by the force of nature that is Yuzu (again)

 

And i didn't realize it until i saw my FB "on this day" thingies, but the announcement came in the anniversary of the day i finally submitted to the gravity that is Planet Hanyu

Yuzu, a black lacy outfit a la Plushy's Nijinsky @  CiONTU (but more Extra! with some flowy bits … and many more sparkles!) would be a wise game plan too ……… IMO of course ……..

I would say... trust that he knows what he's doing, but also trust that he'll only tell you what he's doing ahead of time if he feels like it. And he usually doesn't LOL

Edit: I like the cut too, I can kind of see where the different elements fit. Hmm, there is only one problem-time is slightly over. I almost want to cut the part from 2:14-2:29 to make it fit, because I like the ending 20 seconds and it works well for stsq and a spin to end.
