I don't think anyone can live stream at the emperor's garden tea party...but if they did, it would be a national scandal as well as an international sensation!

I love your ava so much. I cannot stop laughing.

Nah, hope they don't, give the event a bit more respect. =) Besides, won't they need the permission to do any broadcast at all?

Don't worry they won't let it happen. If someone tried to sneak in a recorder or camera, they'd definitely get in a big trouble.

ETA: I just hope that Yuzu won't forget to bring his bling this time...

Truly. Are there any official photos or anything of the sort? This is my first time following this event

I always thought Hanyu was the type to sweat easily and to sweat buckets because at ice shows, galas and competitions he's always drenched at the end unlike other skaters, but in a suit jacket underneath the sun for 40+ minute I didn't even see any glistening on his skin. He still looked so refreshing when they gave him a wet towel at the end. It's unbelievable. (Of course though, it's also unfair how when he's drenched in sweat he's still pretty.)

As far as I know there's always media at the Emperor's garden party! There's some videos on YT of the 2014 one right after Sochi.

Lmao, but it was not even the millenials but the older people who had their phones out at the last one garden party.

4 years ago there were some photos and short footage from Emperor's party but not many.

I can't imagine how it must be to have an entire parade dedicated to you. Not only that, but with more than 100,000 people attending, and it being broadcasted nationwide. My brain simply can't compute that.

And I agree 100%, they should have asked the real questions on the press con. What is that lip gloss brand? Is that a future endorsement? How much did they pay you to wear it in today's press con?

How much did they pay you to wear the lip gloss lololollol rofl...

Reminds me of Yuna. She was also pressured into going to Sochi. I really hope that Yuzuru decides mainly by himself and doesn't feel too burderned. He is already a legend.

I wish Yuzuru would be open about it from now. The next time they ask about Beijing he should say upfront.

"Ive already shown you multiple times that I will dodge this question with all my might. Please stop asking me the same questions over and over again. Thank you."

If he says that 2ch would go crazy bashing him saying he's ungrateful. hahaha

I'm betting he will dodge anything Beijing related until next season.

Twitter is making me tired. Oh, how I wish some one would save all these precious photos to a gdrive folder and share them with my lazy self!

okay but seriously... if Yuzu reveals the brand of lipgloss he was wearing, that press conference would be the most effective endorsement ever haha! Watch sales skyrocket and every shop be sold out!

I overslept and just caught the last 20 minutes of the press conference but i'm watching the parade itself right now and i'm so happy that everyone is celebrating him like this  He's so smiley

ninomiya

9:55 pm

Xen

9:55 pm

Tory

9:58 pm

@zuzu Alien

dot

9:58 pm

Xen

9:59 pm

I think the screams are decreasing slightly?

Stress

9:59 pm

Slightly? 😂

ninomiya

9:59 pm

i find it hysterical that this entire thing is just for him....... if it were for all miyagi athletes it would make more sense in my head but all that is for one single man lol

zuzu

9:59 pm

@tory and his hair is still on fleek ahhh

dot

9:59 pm

the power of zuzu

Anja

9:59 pm

Celeste

10:00 pm

Anja

10:00 pm

Xen

10:00 pm

dot

10:00 pm

@Xen i dont think so. ive never seen a turnout even close to this

Anja

10:00 pm

haha

dot

10:00 pm

i think its coming to a close soon

Poohpalooza

10:00 pm

@Celeste really? Open bus parade for winning football teams is a thing in England

Candy

10:00 pm

In france it happened for football players lol

Poohpalooza

10:00 pm

Not that I'm in England, I just follow English football

Candy

10:00 pm

haha his smile isn't as strong anymore

dot

10:01 pm

Kelly

10:01 pm

Beautiful city

dot

10:01 pm

Candy

10:01 pm

But I live in canada now and I never seen anything like that here

dot

10:01 pm

what about for hockey teams?

charli.ciel

10:01 pm

the more amazing thing is that fans from all over the world came to sendai to support him..

Candy

10:01 pm

You can see how exhausted he is, poor yuzu

Celeste

10:01 pm

football fans here are too agressive so parade like this wouldnt be safe

dot

10:01 pm

he has the rare combo of star power and amazing athleticism

Tory

10:01 pm

I like how he's reading as much as he can from the banners

Candy

10:01 pm

When hockey team win they don't do parades

ninomiya

10:01 pm

didn't they have a parade for olympic medalists here in canada? i think i heard something would happen in ontario

Candy

10:01 pm

I believe

ninomiya

10:01 pm

not sure though

Poohpalooza

10:02 pm

Ah, I suppose so. English football fans can be pretty aggressive too but then so are the players, so...

Candy

10:02 pm

I'm not in ontario so I don't really know 😕

dot

10:02 pm

all i remember about my time in canada is hockey was a big deal haha

ninomiya

10:02 pm

Kelly

10:02 pm

Stress

10:02 pm

Just a lil bit more, hang on!!

Poohpalooza

10:02 pm

Gabby was invited to the Easter parade or something, wasn't she?

ninomiya

10:02 pm

@dot it still is lol

Candy

10:02 pm

Yeah, not anything like that at least

axel

10:02 pm

I'm just thinking about how this parade probably boosted sendai tourism loads he must be happy ("please spend money there" lol)

Celeste

10:02 pm

besides messi is nowhere near as loved and admired here as yuzu is in sendai

Bunny

10:02 pm

what's even more amazing : there are 60K + people watching the live stream of one man standing on a slowly moving bus for half an hour and loving it

Kelly

10:02 pm

the screams

dot

10:03 pm

the screams aren't as loud now either

Xen

10:03 pm

ROLF, the power of the lord of sendai

Poohpalooza

10:03 pm

And this boy worries about haters. Ha.

zuzu

10:03 pm

this is hysteria

dot

10:03 pm

maybe its his perfectionism

Me

10:03 pm

i am dead

Xen

10:03 pm

yeah, but that's why haters tend to stand out more-because they're uncommon/unusual

dot

10:03 pm

that makes him worry about haters 😔

axel

10:03 pm

beatlemania who?

Anja

10:03 pm

Anja

10:04 pm

he won't go politics hehe

dot

10:04 pm

i wish there were more huge banners

Saint Ajora

10:04 pm

I feel like once you have thousands of people show up to watch you wave, you can tell your haters to go kick rocks. XD

Nicole

10:04 pm

Candy

10:05 pm

Candy

10:05 pm

Me

dot

10:05 pm

ninomiya

10:05 pm

If this happened in my home country, there would be so many trash lying around.

I'd like to imagine this type of respect and discipline be adopted all over the world someday.

ETA: before dutchies kill me, my home country is Indonesia! Ha! It's slightly better here in the Netherlands, but nowhere near the level of Japanese, I have to say.

If he says that 2ch would go crazy bashing him saying he's ungrateful. hahaha

I'm betting he will dodge anything Beijing related until next season.

Well he will get fed up at some point. Ever since PC, there has been numerous askings of Beijing from Japanese media.

He is human too and at some point he will say

Something along the lines of

"Beijing is too far off so I will only decide a season before 2022" or something..

Unless he gives a firm answer the Japanese Media ain't gonna stop pestering 😭😂😂😅😅
