I don't think so, if the selection criteria do not change. But also, the same thing happened with Ice Dance. Surely Russia would want their top teams to make it to Nationals and then Euros / Worlds next year?

Seems to be an interview with Pirouette. Those who are fluent in German can maybe confirm the quality of the translation? I think it's from interviews after open practice, I've read the same already. They've proven themselves unendingly flexible in that regard in the past, however Evgenia's already gotten chances like that so for how long will they do it for her? Melodie
This skate really reminds me of Kosto's Adios Nonino for some reasons, particularly the beginning part. PS: How old is he? He looks so tiny but already has a 4T to put in combo. Speaking of which, his combo looks less labored (than some other skaters from Sambo), which is good I suppose (He didn't swing his arms as low and hard). Also, good spins. Paskud
Daniil about Medo Quote She is still completing her back. When I saw each other for the last time, she said that she seemed to be better. But this worries her very much, she worries that she cannot, without thinking about anything else, just train. And she has a desire to train. It's a shame, because there were good skates of both the short and free program, the form has been improved. But what can you do, you have to wait. As soon as she says that she feels well, her back does not hurt - we will prepare for the next competition. - Do you have an understanding whether she will perform at the Russian Grand Prix? - "Russian Grand Prix"? How many days before him, twelve? I think no. about Samsonov Quote We do both programs, but the knee still hurts. Therefore, we try to dose the load. As soon as Danya is ready, you will immediately see him at the competition. https://www.sport-express.ru/figure-skating/reviews/daniil-gleyhengauz-podvel-itogi-pervogo-vystupleniya-figuristki-aliny-zagitovoy-posle-karantina-intervyu-1726786/

Paskud
Zhuk Quote All the guys were seriously ill, and even at different times. First Sasha, then Vanya. And also Shevchenko and Eremenko: first Sonya, then Igor. All the leading couples had the disease with symptoms. We, the coaches, our choreographer Alena Samarskaya, have all been ill with symptoms - fever, headache, loss of smell. Only children had no symptoms. We were sitting at a remote location, now everyone has recovered, all have negative tests. We started to train. So far, little by little, but there are no full rentals yet. As for participation in the 5th stage of the Russian Cup, I can’t say anything about this now, but we hope to perform at the Russian Championship. https://rsport.ria.ru/20201116/koronavirus-1584888369.html
Paskud
Gorshkov Quote In August of this year, the FFKKR published the basic principles for admitting athletes to the Russian championship, which will be held in Chelyabinsk from 23 to 27 December. Only those who competed at two stages of the 2020 Russian Cup under the Master of Sports program are allowed to participate in the start, based on the amount of points scored at these stages. "We will consider this issue, and the decision will be made based on the situation that the coronavirus dictates to us every day. The issue of admission to the Russian Championship will be resolved exclusively so as not to harm the preparation of the national team." https://tass.ru/sport/10015637 Quote Demonstration performances, which will take place at the end of the Moscow stage of the Figure Skating Grand Prix series, will be held in the presence of spectators. This was announced to TASS by the President of the Russian Figure Skating Federation, Alexander Gorshkov. In connection with the increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus in Moscow, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, on November 10, strengthened measures to prevent the spread of infection in the city, introducing additional restrictions from November 13, 2020 to January 15, 2021. The Moscow Grand Prix kicks off on November 20, with demonstration performances on November 22. "Demonstration performances are included in the program of the Grand Prix stage, which is not divided into a sports and non-sports part - all this is carried out in a complex, - said Gorshkov. - The Federation is the organizer, the International Skating Union is holding this tournament - its program remains unchanged." Cultural, entertainment, entertainment and other similar events with the participation of spectators, including exhibitions, are prohibited, and the restrictions do not apply to official events held by decision of the executive authorities. In theaters, cinemas and concert halls, the maximum number of spectators is limited - no more than 25% of the hall capacity, and mass sports events can be held with the participation of spectators, if they are agreed with the city sports department and the Rospotrebnadzor department. https://tass.ru/sport/10015367

We can give the US rednecks the run for their money as far as recklessness and carelessness goes. We don’t have firearms to threaten our authorities with, but we sure happily ignore regulations.
