I know we talked a lot about BV in other threads, but how much more advantage does a 4 quads program with 1 3A give him than a 3 quads + 2 3A?

Depends how the layout is. Quite a bit if combos are in the second half. If 3 out of the 4 are, especially.

Yes, I know but my point is that the  guy doesn't understand that when you say I might use only the 4T and the 4S, that doesn't mean he'll just have two quads; it means the types, not the numbers. He's not the first person who I met who thought that, it's common for non-skating fans.

There is no way he'll skate with just two quads, Javier can easily overtake him. It's perhaps, just 2 types of quads, in a 4 quad program + 1 3A (or alternately, 3 types in a 4 quad program).

You'd think he'd at least check if Javi has three different quads in competition, before correcting his correctors. Really, arguing with a fanyu about the layout we've been having kittens over.

Ah well.

*lets it go*

I'm very sleep-deprived and would legit kick them now. Ugh.

And this is what they should have done from the start.

Instead of propping up Nathan, they should have gone after the possible historical double victory.

I mean it's not only that nobody has done it in 66 years. Only two men have even attempted it. And one of those two men? Is Yuzuru now. It's insane how they dropped the ball in terms of PR for this event.

What in the world .....are they mocking him ...

i'm once again very bitter about the draw,if he had been the last to skate he could've seen what the others did and choose a layout(of his multiple possibilities) accordingly.but ofc that things can never be simple/easy for yuzu

Nah, they're not. They're actually trying to catch the real hype train here. Someone somewhere finally cottoned on.

is the rabbit stream locked now?
