I am too used to football and rugby. They roll them off for x-rays right after getting swelling down in contact sports usually.

I'm assuming they didn't because he didn't go to the hospital until this morning. Prior to that the team doctor was treating him.

Agree. Especially Shoma. One of his main goals is to surpass Yuzu and defeat him in competition.

 

I don't really care what casual viewers think...it's the atheletes whom I care about. And I think what happened here is similar to COC 14...even the others who are not injured wouldn't be in a great mental state and it would affect their performances.

but u know sometimes I think the circumstances going to Pyeongchang are too similar to Sochi that I have this bad feeling at the back of my mind. Yuzu tried so hard to convince everyone, including himself, that this is a good omen. I feel like we need variable?? Bc he’s not going to PC in the same circumstances as when he was going to Sochi. So this is probably the variable we need. Idk just trying to be positive

Iirc selection criteria includes podium placement at Worlds the previous season.  He'll be on the team unless JSF is convinced he will be too injured to compete at PC.  Not that this makes me feel much better...
