My personal ideal for COR would be for a good but not perfect SP (one that lands him as #1 but without too huge a comfy cushion, and with small imperfections) and then a brilliant perfect FS to crush everything and everyone. With a WR cherry on top.

Its just an ideal~~ one can always dream~~:tumblr_inline_mfy936EPNF1qid2nw:

I'd say mine is brilliant SP (another WR) and then a less than perfect FS (falls rather than pops, please) to still win both segments.

I'd like for him to get practice skating after having a huge lead in the SP. He'll need that at the Olympics if he wants to dominate both segments and historically he's had a bit of trouble doing that.

And of course, Chopin is so comfortable for him, and the layout hasn't changed much. I want him to keep building confidence in the SP, knowing he can do it perfectly even with almost no training (i.e. ACI).

For that, I'll sacrifice a few things in Seimei so we know he's not peaked yet :tumblr_inline_n18qraikFP1qid2nw:

Looking at how annoyed Yuzu looks even after that perfect 4Lz, I am thinking that his success rate must be really high in practice which is why he is upset with himself for not being able to replicate it here. The perfect landing of the last attempt is also a proof of that as it was so effortless it can not be a coincidence or one time thing

Sigh that's EXACTLY what he needs. Esp with Chopin looking to be extremely solid.... (Fingers crossed goodness I hope we haven't jinxed anything!)

Agreed. Plus, would he put in a new jump during Olympic season if it wasn't at least 70% success rate?

Why the heck TJ didn't dressed up too... :slinkaway:

They probably didn't get the notice about dress code, plus who would think they will have a formal opening? Last GPF didn't even get closing banquet for skaters...

4Lz is beautiful, hope he will nail it in the free :smiley-angelic001: Can't wait for SP, I have problem with sleeping because of it since yesterday :13877886:

This. This is what I wanted him to get a hold on at ACI and was worried he wouldn't. I think the chances are better this time, what with his physical condition and being fired up bc of the baby lutz (I still can't get over it, so beautiful :13877886:).

This comp will be so different... no knee pain, no imposed jump restrictions, shiny new lutz.... of course he looks happy and ready to go!!!
