Only watched some men's videos for now: don't know what to say about Vincent cuz this SP seems like too Nathan-style  , Boyang's SP looks good, not as fun as Spidiy, but good, especially after jumps when music becomes faster, solid skate for Mika  only 3Lz but no fall, and great combo and 3A!

Caro got level 4 for both her step sequence and layback spin, while Liza got level 3 only...that's why the lower scores for her.

Sotskova got -1 for time violation.

Dabin's 3T was downgraded and 3F was underrotated...

 

In the men's field, Vincent's 4Lz and 3A were both UR (I haven't watched his program yet...)

Definitely UR, I'd have said -2 GOE but most judges were rougher than me and gave solid -3 GOE xD

 

Judging seemed fair, at least at a quick look at the protocols. 

Boyang got all 7's on PCS from some judges. I wonder what is it that sets him so far apart from the other quad youngsters apart from weaker fed...

Someone educate me on how exactly the combo jump is assessed. If you did not make it a combo in any way, isn't the jump then become an invalid element?

It might have invalidated the entire jumping pass in the past but not anymore. Now it eats away at the BV and gets negative GOE (or should, as per rules). And they choose which jump to apply +COMBO to based on planned content or just by random choice. 

 

Edit: Apparently it doesn't lower your BV, actually. Sorry, my mistake!

Thanks. I'm trying to follow at least one competition from start to finish... yesterday I missed everything because of University and I feel kuyashii xD 

LOL I hadn't realized this stream came with the commentary of the people watching. 

Also not sure it'll last past short dance?

My hope is people will upload videos later, I wouldn't be able to catch 90% of the competition(s) even if they didn't want to charge for the stream
