Yeah but shouldn't the failed combination be an invalid element? Surely that would be more points lost than that? How high would her score have been with that combo?

Only 67+  Well, I thought there's should be a bigger gap between her and Caro, at least around 3 points, when Liza had clean skate, . Her pcs is ok, this program is not pack in term of transition and she didn't have the best SS, but I think the performance is great and she skate with so much confidence 

I think alot of men and ladies lost levels here. Even with my untrained eyes, I rarely saw stsq level 4 today

I need a break, too much skating for me

She would've still received some points for the jump she did do, though with GOE and fall deduction. I'm not sure, maybe she lost 6 or 7 points there, though I'm not that well versed on points allocation per jump. 

 

Maybe Liza lost some levels too on her other elements. Would be curious to see the protocols.

Yeah I'd like to look over the protocols as well, I'm not saying Caro doesn't deserve the score I just don't understand it (yet?)

As @katonice said, I'd like to see the protocols too. I thought it could be around 70 points, but maybe she lost some points which I can't see.

I like both ladies very much, for very different reasons. I could watch Caro's skate for hours, even without any jumps...But I think overall Liza was better today, and not only by 0.4 points.

Only now I notice how small Dabin is, esp. standing next to other skaters.

Yes, I think Liza could lost some levels, I thought the same to Caro, too. I love Caro but to see her score is that close to clean skate from Liza seem a bit wrong to me.

Caro basically won in PCS by a lot, which made up the difference in tech. Whether she deserved that high a PCS score with the errors in the SP is another question.

Isn't it the thing most of us confuse so far ?  Caro is a on another level when its come to PCS, but the performance today is not that great. Her pcs is basically the same as she got in Lombardia when she landed all her jumps. Not sure I agree with it. Even her Tes is a bit high with a fall and no combo. But well, may be she hit all level with good GOE.
