Lol I watched his runthrough live and I didn't really panic. Yes he made mistakes but it's practice, you are not 100% concentrated nor do you want to push yourself 100% in practice.

But then I come read comments here and am starting to panic :tantrum: help

Don't - it's not the Olympics. So losing isn't that big a deal.

Messed up all three jumps ... looked annoyed abt it and rubbing his leg ... :tumblr_inline_ncmif7esGm1rpglid:

i saw him shaking his right leg, it must still be sore.

he definitely seems rusty, which is in line with the news that he hasn't practiced in a while. must be frustrating to him not to be able to practice.

but that's ok. he did look annoyed but he's always annoyed when he messes up.

i think when you watch practices live, you get the feeling that they're not pushing 100%. so you don't get as worried. but maybe on TV it looks like more cause for worry. :text-line-smiley-057:

now i am worried about meoima saying that some insider claims his condition is not good. i hope they are lying :text-line-smiley-092:

Well it's not about losing - but about his health. :tumblr_inline_mm2wbbdJC51qz4rgp:

I'm pretty sure that if the injury was serious, he wouldn't be there.

When you do very very difficult things, not doing them for a week makes you feel like you haven't been doing them for YEARS.

Also, it's the case even with normal-to-difficult things. To confirm this, I went on the piano (haven't been playing for probably even more than a week) and I totally messed up the first difficult part of Chopin's ballade  It's not that Yuzu is in bad condition, it's just that he's literally out of practice. So, honestly, even if he bombs the SP tonight (although I'm sure we will see delightful things), it would still be normal for his body to be behind schedule.

totally

im not even doing difficult skating moves and not doing them for a week (i.e. this week) will make me feel like i have to relearn how to skate from scratch. i totally sympathize haha.

also, from what I saw, definitely seemed like he was ramping up slowly. he did a lot of stroking around, edge exercises, etc. very few jumps and even fewer spins. well, he definitely seems a lot less reckless, so :2thumbsup: good job, yuzu. must be hard to hold back when you just want to jump. especially when you make mistakes i.e. on your beloved axel. must be hard not to want to do it again immediately just to prove to yourself that you can do it correctly.

but i agree, his axel axis has been very tilted lately...
