Thanks so much for this translation!  It's a very easy one to read and understand :smiley-happy005:

I'm glad you like it. :)

I'm sure all the people trying to translate are trying their best, but Japanese is a language that's awkward to translate and easy to get wrong...

Probably because 4cc 2013 happened in Osaka. This boy has gone through so much and still has the kindest heart. :tumblr_inline_mg16f5AQHM1qdlkyg:

You see why I have been freaking out about the next NHK. It will be in Osaka. Again.

sigh....

Let's hope that Yuzu's huge success and soaring popularity will make all the difference and Osaka will be vastly different.

Well... I'm hoping that through the passage of time, the fact that a certain someone has long r****d, and Osaka doesn't have anyone local to root for against Yuzu that the reception would be better.

Usually, they're ganging up with Nagoya for that (I'm so sorry for Shoma, he has nothing against Yuzu...but the media and his surroundings make it up as if he had some kind of a vendetta against him...), but, honestly, even if they try to do something, the tickets are (most probably) going to be distributed via lottery, and I just know that Yuzuru fans/fans of just skating, not the drama, will try for them as much if not more than haters, so well... I hope for the best outcome for everyone!

Not sure if anyone is still interested, but since I haven't yet seen any translation of Yuzu's end talk that I really thought was good and completely accurate, I decided to make one myself... (Thanks to @KatjaThera for a first draft and discussions during the ongoing translation!)

To the guest artists, thank you very much!

On this last day, thank you very much!

It's over... (giggles)

Last season, I couldn't do anything, so this rainy season really is the happiest of my whole life. So my life hasn't been so long yet, but (this season) is the happiest.

Thank you very much (also) to the people who built the rink, to our sponsors Hokugin and P&G, to the organizers CIC and president Makabe, for watching over me.

I couldn't ever believe that it's good I started to skate as I do (think that) now.(1) (So) today is the best day of my life. Thank you so much really.

I love skating, I'm looking forward to the olympics.

Please keep supporting all the skaters who'll be competing there.

A seats!

South seats! (giggles)

S seats!

SS! (You) SS seat people really are enthusiastic! (laughs)

Premium! Aren't you really the priviledged few.

West!

Thank you very much! (laughs)

Really, it was fun.

Now that we're saying thank you, please let us hear all your voices.

Oh wait, sorry, how shall we do this, maybe it's better if I do it first? I'll say it first: really, thank you very much!

Fans: Thank you very much!

Fantasy on Ice is the best. Please come again next year. Thank you very much.

We only were at three locations, which three performances each, but they really gave me a lot of wonderful memories.

I am really happy. I'm glad I got to meet you all.

Next year, (too,) よろしくお願いします。(2)

(1) I know this looks very different than the Japanese original; however, I think that's the closest in normally spoken English to what he's saying in Japanese. If anyone is interested, I can explain why I think so and how I got to that in English. (If no one is, I'll spare myself typing up the language and translation lessons. ;) )

(2) I'll never ever find a way to exactly express in English what よろしくお願いします means...

Now I have to go check the thread for pictures and such, I haven't had much time to do that before.

There are always generous fans who spend their time to make good translations for everyone and I really appreciate it.

Thank you all!!! :BeatingHeart::BeatingHeart:

Random reports on day 3, mainly on finale. Sorry if some of this has already been shared.

(After jump and trick fest) Plu and Yuzu came out to the center of the rink and vowed to the audience, then to each other, and for some reason they did shuuuu, pa! motion looking at each other.

In finale Javi attempted 4Lo. He popped the first one but Plu made “1” with his index finger to urge him to try again, so Javi tried again and popped again. He went back to Yuzu who was holding his jacket and Yuzu gave him a pat on his shoulder. Javi also transformed Neko-Javi with a neko-mimi passed from Shoma.

When the skaters were exiting through the curtain Jeff was giving Yuzu a very tight hug.

Kotaro Fukuma was also seeing the show in the front row of the spectator’s seat.

*He is the pianist who collaborated with the skaters in 2015 and 2016, who has also collaborated with Stephane in Ice Legends 2014. Last year he was to collaborate with Yuzu on Ballade No.1 and actually played the piece to the video of Yuzu’s performance in GPF2015.

As I was translating this Fukuma himself tweeted about his visit to Niigata.

I can't speak for all of them of course, but from me, you are welcome. :)

Personally I love all the fans here who find things online and bring them to the attention of all others here: there are so many things out there and it's hard to keep abreast with everything, so having everything here in one place, courtesy of all fans sharing, is really helpful.

Yuzu would approve, if he knew it, I'm pretty sure.

Which also reminds me, I forgot to say that in his calling out the various seating sections, he really reminds me of a rock star, my favourite Toshi in particular, who used to call out the various sections of the audience and got them into "cheering battles." Maybe that's next? :P

Yuzuru Hanyan, roundoff, PW, fanboyzuru, mermaidzuru, Poohzuru... Today has been a good day Now if only we have  more footage... @ FujiTV  HINT, HINT
