Were there no reports on the jump battle at the end? Was there even one? Heck, are there reports on what jumps people did at the opening too, aside from Yuzu's 4T and Zhenya's fall on a 3Lz?

I was just thinking at the same thing...What Shoma did or Javi? And what was Zhenia's program? Everybody seemed focused on Yuzu and the kitty stuff ...

Neko-Yuzu always makes me happy!  at least Niigata day 1 was better than Kobe Day 1

and some ensemble skaters doing tricks that led to our space kitty doing PW Lunge behind a hurdle?  right.. I don't recall seeing kitty nobu anyone else

Plushenko had (has?) great command on the ice...........Yuzu does too and I wonder if he emulates his idol to some extent.  Also I think Yuzu has in childhood studied how Plushenko eminates charisma in his performances and I can see how Plushenko has definitely influenced Yuzu's skating - but Yuzu is a unique talent and in my view deserves the GOAT label!  Maybe Javi is just trolling us fanyus  hahaha
