Thanks, maybe I will try it, the problem is I like to watch competitions the most without knowing the scores/results, and I don't know if I can avoid it for that long But that's an option.

Well, at least Fuji TV started its coverage with a reminder that this year in July "the legend stepped out of the competitive stage" (if I heard, understood and translated into English correctly) - with some flashbacks from Yuzu's press con.

I love the Kobe girls.  But, isn’t it amazing that the same small rink in national terms turns out two Olympic champions, one of them a 2x O champion, and now a junior contender in the senior competition.  Talked about it with my husband who doesn’t like the same sports as I do but thinks that individual will and talent can win out over national academy style ‘manufactured’ champions if given half a chance.  (He’s currently obsessed with Englands new 18 year old spin bowler and therefore predisposed to talk about young success stories however far removed from his normal preoccupations)

In true Fanyu fashion, Max also cheers for other skaters from Sendai.

For me in Germany it is still working. Interestingly, this channel seems to have exclusively videos from Japan Nationals from 2021 and 2022.

Not the order I would have expected

As it is very cold today in Japan, the ice surface condition seems to have been different and hard.

It may be the reason why there were so many falls end failures.

 

But anyway, I'm happy for Koshiro as I have seen his good performance this season so far and expected him very much.

It may be tough mentally, but I hope he will do well again on Sunday 

Of course I wish good performance for others, especially Sota. I believe he can make it to the Worlds next March   I'm going to Saitama

I think the reason may be quite different than one would expect. I am confused a little bit but either I missed something or Fuji TV didn't show Mone's performance during the broadcast. They focused on Mao Shimada instead. So the only way to watch the 3rd place SP winner was on YT. But it explains the number of views, the number of comments is another story.
