Just curious is Yuma  consider as no 1 japanese skater right now?as in like in ice show the no 1 skater will performs last.It will be wierd if he is last and Yuzu is before him.

just bc someone else from his country got an Olympic medal (which isn't even a gold one, just the most recent one) it doesn't mean Yuzu isn't a double Olympic champion,a status that obviously trumps the former one

I think even if he would have gone for 5 quads, he would still lose easily. the -5/+5 GOE system is very easy to manipulate. Also doing 5 quads would force him to drop transitions and waterdown quality and sacrifice everything he value. It was Nathan's way of skating and at the end, he would have just chased Nathan. But he chose his own skating ideals and I'm glad he did. I like his skating mostly because of his artistry not because of how many jumps he does.

True it would be a bit funny for Yuzu to just try out an empty Nathan styled 5 quad layout to check if the judges will give him high PCS as they do with Nathan's empty transitions lol

I guess ISU just wanted a new male single's star and now they finally have a manufactured one.

But considering the 2020 J Nats Tenchi was perfect clean and only received 215 points with 4Lo, what in the world was happening there even JSF underscores Yuzu's perfect performances, although I heard J Nats scores their skaters lower than other Nationals

I'm at totally miserable stage right now, I hope Yuzu will get through this stronger somehow ;; but wtf about giving him another injury as a reward?! Honestly questioning this world now...

Yeah it will get better, now just hurts...

Not ISU. Narrators don’t want to watch sports with only one sportsman winning every competition

Unless it’s their chosen one - Patrick Chan?  Nathan Chen?

Agree. Time will heal it. Better days are coming. Let's just be the best version of fanyus we can be and trust him. At least, this mindset got me through the day without crying or punching someone.

I think he'll skate gala as long as he can skate and jumps triple. I try not to think about worlds right now. But I have a feeling he'll skip wolrds after all tiredness. So maybe his last skating would be...

NOOOOOooooooooooouuuuuuuuu...don't talk about last skating :scared0011: I know I don't have a right to expect him to go on forever but can't we live in hope...at least till he tells it himself ?  To be serious, I firmly believe he still has got so much to give and when he ...uh...it is so hard to even write...when he r..e..ti..res from competitive skating, I hope he continues as pro.

Idk but whatever sh*t show that happened in Beijing made me want to support him a lot more. If anything, this made fans more loyal and protective of him.

This is what's hurting me the most! 90 PCS?!!! 6th on the FS by the Japanees judge?!!! To humiliate him like that after everything he's been through, everything he's given this sport?!!! I don't understand how he's managed to cope with everything these last 4 years.. injuries and the hardships of training alone aside, the horrible underscoring and overscoring of the others.. each time again and again, they made him doubt his most basic beliefs of skating.. and still he pushed forward, inspite of all the injustice.. and in his last Olympics when he delivers a magestic performance, in the realms no one else dared before, these are the scores?!!!!!!!! So undescribably hurt for him!!!!

I just went on the score sheet and GOD like Nathan's skating skills were all given 1st places from every judge for transitions and 1st for skating skills (except for 1 judge). This whole PCS thing really needs to be revamped, like anyone who has watched skating for a season or two can see that Shoma or Yuma or Yuzu's skating skills to be way above Nathan's skating skills and transitions.

Who decided that higher BV jump layout executed automatically shifts to sudden ice dance level of skating skills? This whole olympics is a joke

83 pages? How can I go through all of them? (But I will). So happy for Yuzu! Because it seems that he is happy so I'm happy. I survived my first Oly!

I mean this season's last skating until faoi? Even if I don't know faoi will happen this year and his condition.  I surely believe he will continue his skating at shows after he retires.

It's impossible to think his future without fs related things.

his reaction to 4A being certified :softYuzu::YuzuPoohLove: I just want to hug him

Yes. And that’s why figure skating is unpopular. No rivalry. Everything is calculated. Although fair rivalry between Yuzu and Nathan could be very beneficial or Yuzu, Nathan and ISU.
A lot of brilliant skaters doesn’t earn that they deserve. Including Yuzu.

Finally I can come to the Planet.

So glad that the 4a was certified.

What else I would like to write is that I'm really proud of Yuzu and admire his courage and determination.:clapclap4:

I read only admiration for him in the social media today.

Thank you Yuzu for you skating, we will continue to support you:heartpound:

And that is really sad thinking leaving transitions and other things to focus on jumps is reggession for him but nate gets the same values without even the need to reaching yuzu’s level
