Not at all, if you ask me. To me it just sounds like he gave it his all during the competition and the 4A needs a little more. That's it. There's no way he'll retire after this and without having landed his baby.

From what I've been seeing, certified just means it wasn't downgraded. He got full BV minus deduction for the UR. Ratified, however, would be if it were landed, I think. Edit: Just to clarify, BV is reduced with a UR, but at least the jump doesn't receive a 3A BV, unlike with a downgrade. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That's what I mean when I say "put negative energy into the universe." It's not about superstition, it's about how overstating his health problems affects people who might read it. I imagine this is probably a pretty routine injury, unfortunately. Hopefully it heals quickly--I imagine it's probably less severe than the injury that made him withdraw from NHK. At least he'll have some time to rest before the gala. umm i doubt everyone cares enough to put others in mind before writing something. sometimes its just to put out our thoughts. its not my job to make someone feel better. good if you can but if not its beyond ones control. its not like we are making pure assumptions. his expressions when he winced, his pale face. And if it affects you then its part of being on a forum and reading comments
February 10, 20224 yr First of all, congrats on attempting the 4A at the Olympics, Yuzu! This is a huge step towards his dreams. In real time, I gasped at the rotation, it looked q to me. This is a huge win. Even if it was called < in the end, it's still the most rotated 4A thus far, right? Re the 4S, it's unfortunate, but it happened right after a hard fall on the 4A (PS falling on ice hurts A LOT, what more on a 4A...), so when I saw that, I was just thinking that it must be the injured ankle that he couldn't hold it to the end. Besides, he delivered a clean program after that, that's impressive! Though if he hadn't fallen on the 4S, he would've medalled for sure... Also, if he had gone for the planned 3A+3Lo, I believe he would even have gotten silver. But! Since Yuzu seems content enough, I'll take it. Though I really hope his ankle isn't too bad. See you whenever you are ready again, Yuzu!
February 10, 20224 yr Btw, Yuzu is soooo beautiful on the ice. Obviously he is a beautiful man but his aura is so pretty too, his skating is just mesmerizing.

They're cowards without balls to stand up to corrupted judges and run an agenda to get advertisement money. What authorities do they have to comment? What trust do I have in them, when they can't say out loud how BS the scoring system is? I live in the US and I don't read the US media on ANYTHING figure skating. Those forgettable clowns will go away, while Yuzu's master pieces will live on forever. I'm distancing myself from all media regarding figure skating so I can keep myself sane. Tbh, I'm quite calm about this result, just sad because Yuzu's figure skating's ideal has not won here and I'm afraid sometimes, they could use a movie to rewrite the truth and history. The only comfort for me is that Yuzu has won everything and his legacy could never be erased.
