thats quite harsh. even skaters who arent the top athletes have been making a living out of fs in different roles. now hes ogm he could easilt skate in ice shows, do other commentary works, or even become a coach..Japan welcomes a lot of skaters esp foreigners.

Yup, I'm glad for the comment because that's just confirmation that we weren't just speculating or it was something ongoing, etc. There was a sentiment amongst us not to spiral into negative thoughts and speculation beforehand, even if we made our own observations. So always good to get it from the man himself

The thing about saying how something is really wrong with Yuzu's health without much evidence, and is that you make other fans more anxious and stressed, and possibly for no good reason. That's what I mean when I say "put negative energy into the universe." It's not about superstition, it's about how overstating his health problems affects people who might read it.

I imagine this is probably a pretty routine injury, unfortunately. Hopefully it heals quickly--I imagine it's probably less severe than the injury that made him withdraw from NHK. At least he'll have some time to rest before the gala. 

Back then when yuzu vs patrick, pre sochi, yuzu could've only dreaming to easily surpass patrick's pcs. But Nthan .... He could easily get a good pcs with that skating skill just few season into senior skater... Yuzu need years to get perfect pcs. Even with superb skating skills he often underscored. No wonder my brother doesn't take figure skating seriously because he feels that jugdes are biased in this kind of sport.

wait what does "certified" mean? doesn't he have to land it without the underrotation?

I think he has less star power than Yuzu, but more than anything else, he doesn't seem to be aiming for a career in skating anyway. Didn't he say he wanted to go to med school?

Nowadays they give pcs like candies..no need to be in senior circuit for years to get rise in pcs
