Thanks satellites for sharing the updates feelings thoughts and analysis.  I feel so much to say and just keep this short.

God, may this already be the final perseverance and endurance test before allowing his dream to come true.  Kindly protect him and let him land 4A safely.  Please and please.  Thank you 🙏🏻

Yuzu, thank you very much for competing  today although it is not really your plan to come here until 6-8 wks ago.  Bad luck is not your fault and you have worked hard we know.  I feel thankful that you are not injured and are healthy, and glad that you are smart and mature in dealing with it on and off the ice.  Hope you sleep well tonight and recharge for the next 2 days.  Life is tough (and unfair unfortunately) but you are not alone, as troops of supporters are backing you up and fighting together with you for your battles as well as our own ones...  :tumblr_inline_n18qr5lPWB1qid2nw:

And I am looping this song u like today:

Some days just pass by and
Some days are unforgettable
We can't choose the reason why
But we can choose what to do from the day after
So with that hope, with that determination
Let's make tomorrow a brighter and better day

Definitely. If there is something that ISU definitely has, it is being shameless lol

Short answer is yes.

Absolutely. They would've just robbed Yuzu even more and overscored Nate even more, so there would still be a clear gap in points between them.

Hm... honestly I have so many thoughts, I had to live a day at work and it was hard to be functionable.

I'm still upset, but I believe he's in a better place mentally now than most of us here - somehow REALLY believe it.  Things happen, here it wasn't even a mistake for which he could be mad at himself. Personally I think if he would skate clean but still lose to Nathan (which would happen ofc), I would be equally upset, and maybe Yuzu even more, even if he would have more chances for medal (never gold, at this point I don't believe it would be possible anyway )

I don't wish a bad skate for anyone, so I think a chance for podium is small... People keep mentioning Yuma and Shoma, but there are others there too... He would have to beat them too, and it's no problem if he skates clean, but the first jump is you know what and yeah... (he will land it I just don't think it will happen here sorry :smiley-scared003: doesn't mean I won't cross my everything for it :fingerscrossed:) (also there's no way to avoid the fact that his score will be affected anyway with placing in the short :<)

Anyway he will be fine, he's healthy, enjoys skating, not in pain, and my biggest wish is for him to finish this way, with a smile after great performance :) And then gonna support whatever he's doing next.

It seems very unlikely but I'd love for Yuzu to skate Hana ni Nare at the ex. The lyrics about not giving up after setbacks have always brought me comfort and would be suitable for this moment. Although letting it all go and doing a fun programme like LMEY would also be great. Anything is great when it's Yuzu

off-topic but what is this drama about medal ceremony being postponed? Some say the gossip is that someone was caught doping and it's not about speed skating drama. Interesting.

at this point I just pray for a clean skate and all green box for Yuzu in FS.  he is the only athlete i ever got inspired to watch.

He would just his thing in fs and i would just watch that

I don't think bronze is out of the question. Silver, either, but that's less likely. There are four points between fourth and eighth right now - and not to be rude to any of those skaters, but a clean Yuzu will easily beat all of them. Shoma's looking great, but he's never skated the 5 quad layout clean in competition. I don't think it's out of the question for Yuzu to make up a 10 point difference. Yuma may be more difficult to beat, especially if he skates like he did in the team event. Nathan, sadly, is probably not possible to catch without several large mistakes. We'll just have to see what happens. I just hope Yuzu has a free skate he's proud of.

what if he skates a world record and smashes into the podium

Not out of question, but I don't want to think about possible splatfest, so I imagine they will go mostly clean, anything can happen though. I know he will do his best :)

I would love to see it but the chance is so slim, especially with 4 quads and one of them being...well a not ready 4A. The most I think possible is him landing 4A<. Even that is very unlikely to me. But go for it Yuzu!

btw, welcome to PH! <3

i am just forcing myself to be positive. but still brian oscer never underestimate mr.Hanyu so holding onto that last hope.

I'm not a mean person but if judging is not fair, I don't think wishing an overscored skater to fall or pop is mean or bad. Hence, I confess I don't mind a splatfest.
