Given that the judges will probably give him level 4s, I'd say without properly calculating that puts him up to at least 95/96. So, if Yuzu lands 4A clean, his BV is a few points higher. If 4A< or << they're pretty much identical. Even if Yuzu lands 4A and skates all of Tenchi clean though, unless Nathan, Yuma or Shoma mess up badly it's still looking to be an off podium finish probably Thank you so much for the detailed analysis. It's so disappointing that the RIDICULOUS and UNFAIR scoring is damaging skating like this. The UNIQUE and true beauty of Yuzu's skating is so much more than numbers. These unfair scores have nothing on the MAGIC of Yuzu's skating. Even if Yuzu finishes off the podium (INJUSTICE!!!), it doesn't change the fact he's still the GOAT. Inflated scores can't fool the eyes of many FS-lovers around the world. Those of us who see past the unfair scores know who is the TRUE CHAMPION.

If he lands 4A with squeaky clean Tenchi, history is there. so nothing else matters. But I believe he will be still on podium. "At least" bronze.

Numbers wise though, for Yuzu to podium even skating clean one of the top three probably has to make a couple significant mistakes. I don't really care what result Yuzu gets though I just want him to enjoy himself and hopefully land 4A

Yuma should land the 4Loop (which isn't very reliable), Shoma should land at least 4 quads very cleanly (which doesn't happen often). I would say only Nathan's gold is safe.

The scores/positioning/final podium are obviously and inevitably gonna come down to: if Yuzu skates clean, if Nathan/Yuma/Shoma make mistakes (especially costly ones) and how awfully they're going to mess up with GOEs by underscoring some people and overscoring others. I do hope that Yuzu can just attempt 4A as best he can and enjoy his free to the best of his ability

But between the team event tiring Yuma out and Shoma not being very consistent in the first place, I think there's a decent shot one of the messes up enough that Yuzu could podium if clean. I really hope he pulls out a miracle with the 4A, but I'll settle for the rest of the program being clean + 3A3Lo

Well hopefully all hope is not lost for Yuzu then I don't rly follow Shoma or Yuma so I don't know how consistent or inconsistent they've been over the last couple seasons (Yuzu skated clean and podium pls you deserve it or at least landed 4A)

At this point I only want him to land that perfect 4A, and get the perfect clean Tenchi, only for the fact that Yuzu deserves it. Long ago, I've stopped caring about what scores Yuzu get, because they're unfair and underscore him anyway. I only want him to stay well, healthy, and keep skating for the all the love that he has! There's no one like him, who skates for the pure love of skating, and works so hard to master all the techniques and artistry. It's so terrible that less deserving people are getting inflated scores on bad technique. It is so unsightly.

They've been hyping up Nathan for years. Wanted him to take the Gold in 2018, but splat fest happened and Yuzu did the almost impossible. Now they will do everything to make Nathan the new Olympic Champion. I don't care I just want to see Yuzu skate the perfect Tenchi. He deserves this more than anyone. With all the struggles he's been through, yet coming out on top every time, Yuzu is the true INSPIRATION for humanity.

Shoma though, he has a high chance of messing up 1-2 of the jumps. Nathan with the judges and candies he received today will be in a very good mental place and won't mess up. It will also heavily depends on how Yuzu will perform and how clean he jumps.

Because honestly, clean Tenchi with 4A is more important that the gold too. It is "that" moment for the history of FS. I hope the fate will be on his side for free.

It's great that all you great people here are gurus and do all this very smart analysis. Awesome!
