January 7, 20224 yr I wonder if Alysa will get an exemption so that she will be picked for Team USA or others (Lindsay Thorngren, or Audrey Shin) will have a chance now to go to Beijing. Alysa's short program performance wasn't as convincing as earlier in the season, I think her skating has regressed lately
January 7, 20224 yr Apparently Jason's flight from Atlanta to Nashville was canceled so now he and Tracy are driving!!! He has skates but no costumes, supposedly his parents will try and get his luggage or meet him in Nashville with something. This whole nationals is just a DISASTER. Apart from pairs and even dance, it's obvious who the 3 single men's and women's skaters are for the Olympics. Alysa can petition and I do honestly think the US will send her, but she may have effects from COVID she may not recover from in time.
