That's the one- I think I particularly like the contrast between the dreamy elegance that precedes it and the happy charming presence in the kiss and cry that follows it.

I rewatch programs, but I think probably less often than other fans. I have a weird superstition that if I watch a special program too many times, learning it perfectly by heart, the effect will wear off and it will become normal. Like an expensive perfume I'm afraid to use up and want to keep forever. For a while I was watching NHK Notte Stellata every day, so I had to stop myself. Especially for Helsinki Worlds, since I was there, I'm afraid if I memorize the video, with those camera angles, I will forget what I saw myself. Anyone else?

Haha, I'm the opposite! I've watched so many times but I want to know the choreography well enough in my head that if I hear the music I can see it perfectly. I might be too far gone to be brought back to the land of the living at this point.

There are a few select skates I can't watch too much but more because I am not always ready to go through an intense and transformative emotional journey

lol guys you are free to open as many threads as you like :winky: go wild!

Also , NHK Seimei is my favorite EVER (although my favorite hydroblade has to be the one at nationals haha)

The responsibility is too much for me to bear! (Maybe also lazy, who knows.)

First SEIMEI hydroblade I saw was Boston, BEST I saw was murderface5000@GPF.

I still love eyes closed because in my head his Chopin is about a young man who has fallen asleep listening to the music and wakes up in dream where he is the music. #noncanon

Well, that's a nice interpretation for Chopin 2.0! But I think Chopin 3.0 is of a different breed :winky: Fierce, unpredictable, passionate, commanding. For me, it makes a lot of sense to begin it with eyes open, but it could be perfect either way. He might change it depending on how he feels that day. I would love for it to change depending on his state of mind.

I understand the sentiment. I tend to rewatch my favourite programs only when I'm in a certain mood and choose to not bring them out otherwise. A part of it is also me wanting some space away from fs tho. I love it to bits, but sometimes I need to take a breather, and like you said I don't want to memorise the program. I want to sort of forget the little details and be surprised again when I rewatch it, instead of just memorising the whole thing.
