Red costume is coming and I'm not sure if I want. 

Since we're talking about red and blue (so I made some detective work since I thought I was just hallucinating that he's using new blade covers during FaOI, so I check the vids and da-dan!)

Red could be a nice accent (like replacing the violet mesh parts), but the dominant part of the new costume?

Actually in China, it's believed that you need to wear red somewhere on you the year of your birth animal to avoid misfortune. And next year is his lunar year (he's a dog under lunar zodiac, and next year, right around the men's free, is the flip to year of the dog). Though you usually don't need to wear red so early, and it won't need to be all red- red socks, bracelets, and those skate guards are probably enough.

Accents fine, not huge blocks. But if I get it out of my system and jinx it now I might end up with purple WHICH IS MADE FROM BLUE AND RED BINGO IT FITS!

Curious, what brand of skate guards does he use? I'm thinking this is guarddog, but I don't recall seeing black smoke accents on guarddog brand guards.

I do think red accents would be nice, maybe a cool-toned deep red which would contrast nicely with the cream/white bulk of the costume and the ice without being jarring, but even if we're just going off the movie costumes as inspiration there's a lot of other colours he could go for to alter the Seimei costume and I'm just not particularly attached to red as a colour...I like his blue/cool coloured costumes, I think cool tones are very flattering on him and wouldn't mind if he stuck to blues, greens and purples especially if he feels more comfortable skating in that kind of colour.

I think the red is actually for his Ex................... which will be a Tango  Hahahahahahahaaha
