That knee bend... you can see how stable his 4T really is...

The exit though...wonder if he can get enough power out of it to pull off another 4T....:slinkaway: Though I think a 4Lz exit when stable gives you a bit more speed and power...

I should stop looking at this jump on loop before going to work, to avoid being a teary mess when I show up at work....

A red seimei? Hmm....interesting choice....

lol i feel like he's gotten to the point where his triples all look like pops, even his 3A.

His 3A is actually his popped 4A :knc_brian1: just Yuzuru thing, no big deal :knc_brian1:

That's why he did stamina training, right? And even before, he did it at WTT, improvising on the spot... he clearly stated that those second half quads felt like first half to him, so we KNOW he can do it! It's gonna be legendary, it's gonna be hard, it's probably not gonna be clean right from the start, but it's gonna turn into a beast of a program.

ITA, Kaeryth.

It's so true. With both Chopin and Seimei, he's achieved incredible marks with great GOEs etc... with doing them again, with upped content and fresher and (most likely) better steps, they can't exactly mark him lower. And being willing to take on the challenge of improving upon the current benchmarks of perfection in the men's field? very confident, the bb is.

The FS announcement came early in the morning for me and here I am at work wondering how I'll get through the rest of the day. I'm just so excited!

To all who are disappointed with Yuzu choosing SEIMEI, I read somewhere (no time to find link) that Yuzu had been wanting to use SEIMEI since his high scores in the 2015-2016 season. Also, remember the time when he said he could skate SEIMEI cleanly under any circumstance now? Not sure what he meant, whether it was the programme or the layout, but this is so important going into the Olympic season with a programme he's already mastered. Well of course new layout and choreography should be taken into account as well, but at least he's already comfortable with it.

The other guys, poor them. With chopin and Seimei and if Yuzu skates clean, no one can beat him (at least 95% sure). So other guys need to go for broke with 6 quads in the long, and risk going splatfest to even have a shot. I don't envy being Nate, Shoma or Boyang now- maybe Boyang can pull it off without going splat-tacular, but his PCS isn't enough.

Nathan's and Shoma's SP look very promising to go head to head with Chopin. We shall see with their FS.
