I just don't understand the copyright policy of YouTube. The existence of this videos hasn't bothered a single soul for the past two years. Why the deletion out of the blue?

Seriously: A video that survives more than a year without any copyright claims should be frozen and saved from future deletion waves.

 

I cannot imagine that the IOC profits from this action in any way. But the person, who pushed the delete-button, successfully ereased another great memory of figure skating history and lowered the number of +1Mio Yuzu-videos. Again. I want to scream.

not sure if this is the right place to ask, has anyone ever volunteered for ISU / oly FS comps? If yes, What’s your experience like? Have you had the opportunity to see yuzu live or backstage?

I've read some reports here about volunteer job during Milano WC and the thing is you never know in what area you'll be working. It might be arena (then you're lucky) or might be just some office work, so I wouldn't make any bet on it. You must look at the application and see if they ask at what times you want to be free, so you can ask for a free time during men's events maybe (at Helsinki WC I sold my spare FS ticket to a girl who was a volunteer and wanted to have a better seat for the event cuz volunteer seats were very high up).

So if you want to help out, visit event and save money it's worth a shot, but check the rules in the application first, cuz there's no guarantee you'll see Yuzu.

A friend of my friend volunteered during Sochi Olys - it was fun experience, but they were there around a month (with training before event), I personally just can't afford so much time off.

Dermatologist will say do not touch your face often with your hands unless you have  washed your hands.

Dermatologists would also probably say not to wipe your face with the same towel that you just wiped your skate blades with, but apparently Yuzu is just exempt from all of these rules. It’s not fair.
