  2) Kei Nishiki (tennis)

  3) Shohei (baseball)

  4) Ichiro (baseball)

- The most popular amongst men is Ichiro (baseball) and for women, its Yuzu. 

- Men mostly prefer baseball players while the women love figure skaters (1.Yuzu, 4.Mao, 5.Nobu)

I was in a sold out arena filled mainly with women there to see Yuzuru. This is totally legit.

    In fact, I was about to post about this in details but it's too long ,

and it's my lunch time when I found this topic, so ....

 

If you don't mind, please let me add only to the point of "The Athletes mostly wanted to be watched live broadcast from mobile phone by Japanese (500) women".

4 out of 10 are figure skaters and are as follows:  1st:    Yuzu  ;  

4th:M.Asada;   5th:S.Uno;   9th:M.Honda.
