Aww I know he loves his mum really ♥️ Her life has been about supporting him to realise his dreams, and her rewards are great, seeing her son at the pinnacle of his sport, absolutely adored and honoured by his people, and loved by so many beyond his nation’s borders. Maybe it’s been her dream too. :softYuzu:

Yes, I'm sure she's immensely proud and gratified that her labor of love has allowed him to reach such heights. Nevertheless, if I were his mom, my response to the glove incident would have been:

"Fine. If one wrong glove is the end of the world, you can pack your own damn bags from now on!"

Just sayin' ...

I'm of the opinion that his meltdown in that free skate was 1% due to injury and 99% due to glove angst. :peekapooh:

When I saw the pics of the glove-incident for the first time, I read in Yuzu's eyes:

"Sigh... How shall I do the Hydroblade without gloves now? This program is cancelled."

I cant imagine a mum who would argue with that sentiment!

Buuuut, our Overlord is very honest about his shortcomings - he said recently he has noticed he always has to win arguments with his family, so just imagine the exchange between mum and son after

Glovegate!!  ... especially after that 150 something score 😱

If I was a betting woman I think I’d put my money on Yuzu, as Javi says “he REALLY REALLY likes to win” ....  I bet mum is still packing his bags! Maybe the compromise is that Yuzu has to do the glove packing?! :dislike:

Edit: oh and toe sock packing too!! 😂

Edit number 2: this is a lighthearted comment by the way, I am not supposing I know the relationship between Yuzu and his mother, apart from a certainty they love each other!

haha....I totally agree!!

If I got that look from my son.....he may be cooking his own meals too!

I should be honest too, and reveal that I rarely ever cook...and if I do, my sons know better than to sample

Pammi, you know Moms too well...:xD:

Multiple choice

A)you are either a Mom yourself and/or

B)you are a closet psychologist/psychiatrist and/or

C)a dyed in the wool Zuzu fan!!  Unsalvageable Yuzu convert

various permutations and sequences of A/B/C

D) all of the above

Gosh, it looks like YOU are the closet psychologist/psychiatrist !! :hihi:

Yuzu probably learned this look

 :hachimaki:

from mama.

Example:

Yuzu: Oh my GOSH I can't believe you packed the wrong GLO--

Mama: :hachimaki: (but with long hair)

And that was the end of that.

Pink used to be for boys. Let’s return to those times. :tumblr_inline_n18qrbDQJn1qid2nw: It suits him so well.

I like Yuzus pink shirt!

Also, just like to say that it’s so nice to see and be a part of this friendly and cordial group. It’s  relaxing to have a pleasant place in which to spend a few minutes (or more).

Many thanks to all. :thanks:
