  1. Mmmh maybe it also depends on one's metabolism I guess! Yes, starving before physical excercise is never a good idea Ahaha, you should talk about this with Kurt Browning... he has the same questions!!
  2. As Yuzu teaches us, it's best to skate with an empty belly
  3. Hahahaha priceless reaction! Please let her be at the Kiss and Cry more in the future maybe! Her and Kolyada's face later said it all.
  4. Why not tomorrow AND in the weekend? They don't necessarily have to know you'll go there tomorrow... Aaaaaah damn, so beautiful...
  5. 冗談じゃないでしたか。。。
  6. Aaaah, I thought you had found it somewhere where it was used seriously It was a joke, so it's okay! In truth, we can't know what would have happened, had he not have asthma... maybe he wouldn't have felt as motivated to fight as in reality. Or, maybe, y'know. 4A and stuff.
  7. Who is the criminal changing 4s into 5s whom we have to arrest?
  8. I can't translate on the phone but... my gut tells me it has something to do with quints
  9. I can't translate on the phone but... my gut tells me it has something to do with quints
  10. Random thought: who misses LGC already, like me?
  11. It's okay though, isn't it? Those kind of moments have no meaning on camera. Camera can capture performances and beauty, but it doesn't really capture the kindness aura that Yuzu emanates and that amazes everyone that gets close to him, right? But this is just my humble opinion... I just think, if I were Yuzu, I'd rather bow and say hello to fans that are looking at me in the eyes, rather than looking at me through a screen... Much like, if I had to choose between having a 24 hour long video of his full day, from when he gets up from bed to when he goes to sleep (with Pooh plush maybe heheh), and a second of his eyes looking at me and smiling... well... Do I have to say what I'd choose?
  12. I know we already have a classical SP, but... for 2018-2019 season, I would suggest Yuzu Liszt's Consolation as a beautiful choice!
  13. Magical genes happen often, I think, but the combination of a genetic strenght plus mental strenght, a spirit that always pushes forward to change, to transform itself - that's pretty unusual. I 100% agree with him when he puts Yuzuru to the same level of some of the greatest geniuses of human history. I feel so happy when Yuzuru's uniqueness gets recognized. A lot of people in the FS world can't even bring themselves to accept that, and see reality for what it is.
  14. Aaaaah my heart went through a moment just reading what happened to you!!! I would have tried to convince him that he was in the right bus, and we were just minor skaters, too little know for him to remember Oh, but maybe then I would have put him in danger of getting lost somewhere without mama Orser...
  15. I agree 100% with Takahashi. The first impression Yuzuru gave me, the first before any other thought in my mind, was that he is very very manly. Because he feels his body so much, you can feel it really present. It's a rare sensation to perceive, even for skaters.
  16. Hahahah I remember thinking "If he does a mistake on the 4Sal, he can always add a Toeloop and Yolo out an Axel at the end", so when he actually did everything clear, I was kinda worried that instead of the yolo Axel, he was gonna go for the 3Lz! The day after the SP, I could have gone out with my sister and visit Helsinki... instead, I stayed home all day, eating cheesy ramen and watching Yuzuru's videos on youtube With the last bolded statement, I'd say people overestimate happiness. Happiness isn't being fulfilled by life, isn't self-realisation, isn't the "best feeling" you can aspire to in life, but it is pretty powerful and awesome, and utopic moments like this one we are talking about are created to bring out such powerful feelings. So maybe most people won't understand because they are exchanging happiness for other, I guess, more complicated positive feelings, not as easily obtainable. To me, happiness is, by nature, a short-lived feeling of excitement over something that concerns us or not, so that definitely fits with what I experienced in Helsinki. Omg I definitely talk too much about these things.
  17. I mean, you don't simply wake up one morning and expect to witness a world record. I was shattered after the SP, much like most of his fans and himself, and I hoped with all my strenght that he skated as clean as he could. I never expected him to do that. The moment right after the 3 Lz. Best moment in the best moment of my life xD
  18. Hanyu: *uncovers 95% of his legs, shows flaming muscles to the whole world* Fanyus: why is he covering his ankles tho I'm sorry I had to do it
  19. Wow, send this to every Hope and Legacy hater!
  20. I think this is hands down the best fancam of any Yuzuru performance ever. And when people start screaming during his last spin... my heart starts beating like crazy again, and I go back there in the arena, to that magical moment... probably one of the happiest of my life.
  21. What. What is. What is life. I'm not. I was not. Ready for this. I can't properly. Come back to senses.
  22. I should have written "past carreer" I'm not 100% sure about it, but something tells me he will keep skating for at least another year after the Olympics... so you can rest assured, you will have many occasions to see him.
  23. I agree with you. If I were in Yuzuru's shoes, surely it wouldn't be the wisest thing to complain and feel frustration because other skaters are treated differently. Yuzuru grew as much as he did because he was treated the way he was, too. But as many of us here already said, our worries and our frustrations aren't because of the unequal treatment in general - but because the rules are changing to the root... and when you accept a technical mistake as 'jumping style', you actually put the skater in danger. Of course, we are just reiterating endlessly c: in the end, I am happy Yuzuru's carreer was the one it was.
  24. Omg sorry I don't care what I've been doing with my life, this is the best video I've ever seen
  25. I see we're all joining the club of not saying what makes us frustrated I'm glad they called his 3F all those times! His 3Flip is glorious! In fact, I wish they did this with every skater... for equal treatment...
