It might be that his success rate with the 4Lo diminished when he placed his blades back to the centre of the boot rather than off to the side? Or he sees that having both a 4Lz and 4F seems to be the magic jumps for judges...

Aaah.. might've misunderstood that tweet.. Sorry! "My opening jump is a 3A but I'm looking to replace it with a 4Lz. My second jump is a 4F". But yeah.. I'm guessing if that 4Lz doesn't work out he might do 2 4Fs instead. Aaaaaaaaaaah....... (that's all I have to say for now... haha). Just stay healthy everyone.

Injury and boot issues... then it's a good thing he withdrew from Asian Open. Hope he gets better and fixes the boot issues. Good thing it's still early in the season. Praying for him to stay healthy.

If you guys wanna have a pre-cry party for 24H TV here are links to his previous appearances to give you an idea (warning: prepare tissues). 2014 (with english subtitles) - Yuzuru visited Ishimaki in Miyagi Prefecture, an area struck by the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami. Performed R+J1. 2015 - Yuzuru visited survivors of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster living in temporary shelters. He performed Requiem of Heaven and Earth as well as Hana ni Nare. Hana ni Nare: performed with Sashida Fumiya and MJC Ensemble (Minami Soma Junior Chorus - composed of children affected by the Great East Japan Great Earthquake) and watched by 100 spectators, including some inhabitants of Fukushima (with english subtitles). 2016: Collaboration performance of When You Wish Upon a Star with Kumamon and skaters from the disaster-affected areas of Kumamoto. Also performed White Legend.

Well then, I guess I need to prepare some tissues for this. I know that he's never talked about his asthma (or his injuries) at length (stubborn boy...) and to finally do it because of a young asthmatic boy who looks up to him and to encourage other kids who have health issues. Aaaaaaah.... I feel like my heart is bursting a bit because he has such a kind and gentle soul.

One of the reasons I find watching pairs so nerve wracking. I feel like it's one of the more dangerous sports/disciplines. And so much kudos to the ladies. The Olympic schedule still irks me. Why no rest day in between the short and free for the pairs? /sigh/ So young! Oh I feel so sad for Ekaterina. I don't really watch pairs that much but from what I can see they're really fast. The speed in and out of their technical elements are amazing. Also, they really look like they have a connection and skate as one. By the way, I found an HD version of the performance!
