    Whoever cut his FS music did him a bit of a disservice. I love The Planets/Star Wars music but the way Boyang's FS music was patched together is just so disconnected from each other. Especially the Cantina theme for his step sequence in the middle of super somber pieces. He should have gone the Zhenya route and put some Darth Vader breathing sounds capping the step sequence, to transition into the somberness of a post-Vader attack or something.

    Yeah. Pretty much. He doesn't need to be squeaky clean all the time, he just needs to maintain a higher average and not have such big lows as he's prone to have at the beginning of the season.

    I don't think Yuzu is going to ever have that number of 10s again unless similar circumstances apply in a competition: he goes last and nails it after multiple good skates before him that will increase scores exponentially. GPF 2015 was special.

    So, in the end, what is the best strategy Yuzu can have to counteract this? Aim for that season-long consistency?

    Nah, I don't want him to do that. I want him to actually rotate all his 5 quads. Popping the 3Lz is okay, but I don't want any popped quads. I did the statistics last season, I was in pain. No more quad popping!

    I tend to ignore ACI and SC (more so SC) because Yuzu does tend to blow them so he gives them a reason to mark him down. May be different this year because he's in better shape and more comfortable in his programs, so we shall see how he does.

    I feel like that'll be the layout he will do at ACI. To test 5 quads. If clean, though, I expect the 4Lz to enter the game after.

    He got about three total GOE less here than he did at Worlds. Yeah, he can improve on it and on his PCS too. Work in progress for the season.

    That's fine, it's a double. You can also repeat doubles two times. He just can't do 3 2Ts, like he did at US Classic after he popped the 4T.
