I think the programme itself was just so iconic and memorable that people tend to like everything about it, including the costume. But don't get me wrong, the costume itself is really nice and unique, so there's that too! Personally it's also not my absolute favourite, but I could understand why it's so popular among fans

Wow, the day when China qualifies for a team event before Japan This could potentially turn into a much bigger problem in the future, that is if Japan fails to get their sh*t together and to realise how unhealthily imbalanced their resources are being distributed right now.

This is ridiculous. Not only is this a very personal question you don't ask strangers when you just met, it's also obviously bait for a scandal. The media's fully aware of it and exploiting it deliberately. Zhenya handled it nicely, glad the girl's got it at such a young age. I pray that these athletes never have to get hurt from inhumane behaviours of those that want to profit from them :hachimaki:

Despite what his bubbly personality might suggest, Boyang seems to be a thinker from what I've gathered in interviews, so in this regard he really is similar to Yuzu, and I'd love to see more of this from top skaters. Too many times they depend on their coaches a little too much that it seems to hinder any progress on personal growth and individuality :crazy:

Oh my that gala perf was painful to watch. I couldn't continue after 20 secs I know there's still some time before the season starts for Gracie to make some adjustment but.. as of now her chances are looking slimmer and slimmer

Maybe, but I am talking more about the way he unwraps his free leg. It does not necessarily mean that it is wrong though, it just bothers me but I can't explain why :p Maybe fresca can explain better Glad I'm not the only one bothered by this. It makes his jumps look so clumsy and unstable even when he lands them.

Hmm.. As much as I'd love to see a black swan too, idk how much effect it'll have on the audience and judges tbh I'm trying to visualise a black swan costume with any combination of (sparkles, ruffles, feathers) on black fabric and I'm not particularly into any of them :cry: There's high chance it could be either too much, or not enough, especially if it's all black..

oh wow, I came back to such ecstatic news! :yay: considering how much fun he has during shows, I believe this will be the first time he could truly relax since worlds last year. ie. the first time in a year! I'm sure he'll enjoy himself, and I pray that he could feel our support through the audience and then store up energy for the upcoming battle :yes: and I'm also really curious about what he will skate to! there are so many options and I like a lot of them! :space: hope he brings back chopin/seimei (I want to watch them live for at least 1 time), though I could imagine he might have other things he prefers

(hey, but is that flour or sand?? Bc I can't imagine it would be very comfortable for them if it was actual grainy, scratchy sand they have to rub all over their bodies like that for the shoot lol)
