  1. Same here, that's so many easy points I also lost there. S/K is Russia's No.1 team after all while C/B is currently not USA's no.1 team (though I hope they'll be after Nationals ) so it should've been more evident that they'd give it to S/K even with a boring free dance. I was also fooled by the not so Russia-friendly panel. But since there is a hierarchy in ID the placements are much more predictable than in singles (not counting when a couple makes a big mistake). Ah well, I should predict CoR and NHK better! But CoR won't be that easy either, especially men and umm maybe ladies too.
  2. RusFed will submit a proposal to the next ISU Congress that would allow quadruples in ladies SP https://rsport.ria.ru/20191112/1560838518.html translation: -- I don't think other feds will vote for this proposal no matter how much RusFed wants it. It would mean the gap between those who have quads and who doesn't have quads will be even bigger and other feds other than the Russian wouldn't want it.
  3. Rizzo couldn't land one 4Lo cleanly in the beginning of the season and he took it out for the GP series. Krasnozhon's 4Lo was landed at US Classic, though.
  4. Voronov has tried it a few times before het got sick last season but it was always underrotated or downgraded (or he popped it into a triple). So last season I think it was two of them, Yuzu and Grassl. Krasnozhon landed one this season so we might see him do it more often. Nathan hasn't done it since Japan Open 2017 @rockstaryuzu It is such a rare and difficult jump to do. Yuzu does it really beautifully.

  15. There is a Denis Ten Memorial exhibition in Seoul until today, with many pictures of him, his costumes, skates and medals. Yuna Kim also visited it last week.
  16. Question to those who are able to watch the YouTube streaming links - does ISU delete the live stream video after the event ends or do they keep the video ontheir channel & can you watch the videos again? I heard it is the former but I need confirmation. Thank you!
  17. We talked about earlier, the interviews with Lakernik was posted on the Hungarian Skating Federation's site last year and this year so I summarized them: Lakernik seems optimistic that the congress would vote for the changes so to me it sounds as if it was already half-decided...
  18. It looks beautiful, I like it a lot!
  19. There were some rinks that were relatively small, like at SC 2015 and 2016 or GPF in Marseille. Those rinks have around the same capacity as Mokdong in Korea. My opinion is if he thinks it would be beneficial to compete between Nationals and Worlds then he would go to 4CC, otherwise not.
  20. It is still very unpredictable now. In the men's Cup of China thread we discuss about who could have chance to qualify:
  21. I think here in Europe we can happy that he went to CoR 2x in the past two years and Helsinki last year and that GPF will also be in Europe. (and if we go back in time GPF 2014-2016 + 2017 Worlds too) Usually I find France the most unlikely GP for him. I think he only went to TEB in 2013 because Patrick was there and he wanted to compete against him
