  1. Brian didn't comment anything on that instagram post, it is a misunderstanding from that person who tweeted it. When the time comes and Yuzu wants to he will let everyone know he's back at training at TCC. Until then I think it is better to be patient (even if it is not that easy sometimes).
  2. I am hopeful we can organize the JGP event, in case of course if the whole JGP series won't be called. A Challenger event in Budapest also got included in the calendar during the pandemic so I assume our federation really want to organize an international event in the fall...
  3. I agree. The problem is with judging itself and not with the current rules. But ISU won't admit that, they're changing the rules on and on instead. It won't solve the root of problems though. It should be about who combines technique and artistry the best with applying the existing rules correctly for both the tech and the judging panels. I doubt many will be interested to watch only artistic programs (with max. 1 quad) or only technical programs with lots of quads and other jumps and without lot of choreo, difficult and varied steps, or performance. It's also kind of unfair for those who are able to jump quads/harder jumps but they won't be allowed to do harder programs in the artistic program. And I'm not even thinking about how they'll judge those programs if judges currently have problems with applying the current rules, PCS and GOEs.
  4. Congratulations to Yulia, I wish her all the best, most of all good health for her and the baby.
  5. An interview with Leena Laaksonen who is one of the members of the singles & pairs technical committee. "Skating needs a balance between technique and artistry" Translated by google from Finnish to English, so sorry in advance if something is not quite clear.
  6. Javi shared this in his instagram story:
  7. Thank you everyone for donating.
  8. @sweetwater kindly listed all the upcoming broadcast dates of FaOI in English here:
  9. Wow, good luck to them! I hope things will turn out well for her. Also it's OT because Kunitsa was in juniors but he's changing to pairs and will be trained by Moskvina.
  10. @Fay gif version from tumblr, but the videos @sweetwater posted are longer.
  11. No, she didn't do solo 3A in the SP because it's not allowed. Solo jumps are prescribed for juniors, this season it was 3Lo. So Alysa had to put the 3A in combination. As for Yuzu it'd be way too risky to put 4A in the SP, it would only make sense in the FS.
  12. I am not sure if it will be back on CDJapan, usually things sell out fast there. I'd also prefer CDJapan but will probably order it on Amazon if there are no other options. I guess the same time when the other Citizen pictures were taken...a very long time ago.
  13. It's good that the publisher will try to make it available and that it's back on Amazon because the demand for this photobook is so high. It was also on CDJapan a few hours ago, but it is already no longer available there. https://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOBK-2501371?s_ssid=e31aca5ed9f561f000
  14. Yes because on the link I posted, first you click on this: And then here: Google is my best friend and I just usually search for example "2015 GPF isuresults" and I can find all the protocols with just two clicks.
  15. Rinkresults does show the scores, see Yuzu's SP page from 4CC for example: http://www.rinkresults.com/judges-scores?competition_id=2612&race_id=1 And on the ISU one, click on Starting order/result details on any competition link and you'll find all the protocols by clicking on "Judges scores (pdf)". I prefer the ISU results page because it's easier to find the list of judges and open the pdf with all the scores. There is also SkatingScores which is very helpful.
  16. I definitely saw the price and pre-order option a few hours ago, I think it's sold out already.
  17. Quoting myself here because Yaguchi's photobook (from Hochi) is now available on Amazon as well. https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/4831901660/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_awdo_c_x_Sd11EbGMM2D2A
  18. All three photobooks look promising. I have always liked the Ice Jewels one but the reviews of the previous Dancin'on the edge photobook were also good. I haven't ordered anything for a long while, so I'll think about which ones to buy a bit later.
  19. The Yuzu and Javi picture is from the Ice Jewels photobook. The Ice Jewels one always contains pictures taken by Nobuaki Tanaka.
