    She gave it a +2 ;-) She must have blinked during the 3A...or she was amazed by YOLOing the axel and accidentally hit the 0 button... I like that the flip was not called at all during the whole 2011/12 season. And that it only got -GOE twice since the end of the 2013/2014 season. Clear edges or not...the 3F has the highest success rate (even if it doesn't make too much sense - he jumped the flip 47 times, while the axel 130 times at competitions. And the rate difference is only 1%).

    I don't know about Patrick..he rarely skated to upbeat rock music (I think he only skated to Coldplay songs as exhibitions) so I am not sure if he owned heavier music. When he skated to pop-rock music it was always light or Michael Bublé type easy listening...which is okay because it suits his style. But I think he is very far away from Yuzuru. And I think that even Jason is more versatile than Patrick. Dust in the Wind is faster and it's musically more monotonic than Hallelujah. And I agree that Patrick can use his edges a lot during the program. It will be a nice program, hopefully. He won't need to cut much from the music because it's a short song, a bit more than three minutes long. I think if a skater can perform a program well, then any kind of music can fill even the biggest arenas.

    Yes, that Mexican judge. Fortunately, no one gave Yuzu a 0 to his 3F in the second half the season. Last time he got one was at SC. +1 is bad enough, though...

    I am bored by every Hallelujah covers except by Jeff Buckley's, whose version I like a lot. Why would you choose this song by Radiohead? I think Exit Music would be hard to skate to even as an exhibition program.

    If there are no consequences of the scoring, then the abolishment of the anonymous judging doesn't change anything, unfortunately. Transparency doesn't mean anything if the accountability of the judges is non existent. I don't know if anything will change in the future but we've seen lots of questionable scorings during the last season, so I'm not optimistic either.

    Great that we have lots of HD fancams from the OP.:) I love Jun Hwan's music and the program looks really promising, even if it is still very early. He's always had problems with the Axel, but I hope he can improve on it in the next months. Fingers crossed. So-youn's LP is gorgeous, but to me it seems that she hasn't fully recovered from her injury, her jumps aren't there and she struggled through this program... I hope she can get stronger and her injury won't hold her back anymore. I like Eunsoo Lim's free skate, she is a very expressive skater and this fs suits her a lot. Is it just me or did she grow a bit? And Young You matured so much over the past year, too. She's so talented. I 'm looking forward to watch her programs in the competition. (And I like her tanos, they look quite nice)

    Yes, both of his choices are similar to Dear Prudence and Blackbird by the Beatles, which are both acoustic/folk rock songs too. I think it is not easy to skate to music like this. Apart from maybe Hallelujah, these songs are usually not overused in figure skating, and they often lack easily recognizable structure, or upbeat tempo.

    I like Patrick's music choices, I think both of Dust in the Wind and Hallelujah suit his skating. It is also interesting that he decided to skate to two acoustic/folk rock pieces, which very rarely happens in figure skating. I am curious which version of Hallelujah he would choose-I like the album version of the song a bit more as it is even more touching than the one which was recorded for the official video.

De amikor objektíven mérhető dolgokról van szó, és abban próbálnak meggyőzni, akkor a türelmem általában odáig tart Most már én is nagyon türelmetlen vagyok ami a kűrt illeti! Azzal nyugtatom magam, hogy sok hónapot sikerült átvészelni, és már július vége van...így ha minden igaz már csak néhány hét és megtudjuk a választást! Volt az a postoló tumblr-ön, aki tudja, és írta, hogy van, aki örülni fog a választásnak, és van, aki kevésbé. És hogy valaki már említette a darabot (a GS-en?). Ebből talán azt lehet leszűrni, hogy nem valami teljesen új és ismeretlen zenét választott. Mert akkor nem írta volna azt, hogy valaki kevésbé fog örülni. Az utóbbi napokban valahogy sokszor eszembe jut a Seimei...mégis csodálkoznék ha azt választaná. De igazából azt is nehéz elképzelni hogy mindkettő klasszikus lenne. Utoljára 2010/11-ben volt mindkettő programja klaszikus. Szerintem dinamikus lesz és inkább valami filmzene.

    Their music is used more often recently than it was 10-15 years ago? I don't think they are warhorses though. If we add the Beatles then we could definitely add Pink Floyd, too I have this but I think it's basically the same as the one from FS universe.

    The Nutcracker is the most used from all of these. I've hesitated to add Miss Saigon and Madama Butterfly, but they are not that often used pieces, I think...

    I think both Sing Sing Sing and Singing in the Rain are used at least a couple of times every season so they could be considered warhorses. (I checked them and last season both of them were used in the ladies, men and ice dance 2-2 times)

    He's currently in Spain doing summer camps, so he won't go back to Toronto until beginning/mid-August.

    @xeyra I nominate Tosca, Scheherazade, Moonlight Sonata, Rhapsody in Blue, Bolero , Sing Sing Sing, Firebird, maybe West Side Story as well

    Same as @xeyra, I'm a bit superstitious about making predictions....but here we go: Men: obviously Yuzuru, then Nathan, Boyang and maybe Shoma. I have a gut feeling that Shoma might not finish on the podium, though. Same for Javier and Patrick. Jun Hwan Cha can have a breakthrough season - if he will be consistent during the season and can handle the pressure well (I am sure he can!), he could finish in the Top 10, even maybe Top 8 at the Olympic Games. Ladies: Medvedeva for gold, but Alina Zagitova will have a very good debut season in the seniors and she can be a threat. She and Mai or Satoko could finish on the podium. Gabby Daleman, Karen Chen and maybe Carolina Kostner could finish in the top six. Pairs: Sui/Han for gold, Stolbova/Klimov, Duhamel/Radford or Savchenko/Massot for either silver or bronze. Ice Dance: if they will have a consistent season and won't make any mistakes at the OG either, Tessa and Scott will be untouchable. Papadakis/Cizeron for silver and the Shibutanis for bronze - but if any of them make major mistake/s, then everyone from the Top 6 at Worlds 2017 could win a medal.

    From 2015, yes. He had the same combo, the 4T-3T in both the SP and FS between NHK and Japanese Nationals in 2015, and then at Worlds in 2016 he tried the 4S combo in the FS for the first time.

    Tudja ő azt pontosanCsalóka az az angyalarc. Igen, biztos találkozom majd másokkal is, főleg oroszokkal. Ők tényleg nagyon szeretik Yuzut. Nagyon hozzáértő közönségük van (a két dolog összefügg egymással ). Én is úgy vagyok vele, hogy ha Magyarországon kevesebben is szurkolnak Yuzunak, de azok, akik a rajongói, azok nagyon kitartóak. Úgy vettem észre, hogy Javi rajongói visszafogottabbak, még akkor is ha többen vannak. Nemcsak a korcsolyázók nagyon különböznek egymástól, hanem a rajongótáboruk is. Én inkább a családtagjaimnak szoktam mesélni. De már kezdik unni Főleg szezon közben nehezen tudnak elviselni, de valahol megértem őket. Egy kicsit más téma: pár nap múlva örülhetünk a FaOI közvetítésnek. Remélem láthatjuk a PW-t! Már várom
