EisElle
I haven't seen it posted here but since Andrew is still jr and he's going to be in this week JGP, dropping it here He seems a very creative guy looking forward to his self-choreo... Quite refreshing that his focus is on steps and choreo rather than jumps... He admires Patrick...well duh, who would have thought I find surprising that he also admires Lysacek.... mmm sorry he is one of those skaters whose appeal will always be completely obscure to me
WinForPooh
I love this kid but the pre-rotation on his Lz is as tragic as it is with most 4Lz now, what would Yuzu say, Shun!? On the other hand the 4lo looks really good.

He was doing only single jumps. Of course, he doesn't need them in ice dance, but he openly said that it's because of injury and I'm WorriedTM. sallycinnamon
We have one JGP left but there are already many who qualified for the Junior Grand Prix Final, ladies and men will be pretty exciting in the last GP event, Egna! Pairs: JGP Croatia was the last one so we have the 6 qualifiers for the JGPF: 1. Apollinariia PANFILOVA/Dmitry RYLOV (RUS) - 30 2. Kseniia AKHANTEVA/Valerii KOLESOV (RUS) - 28 3. Iuliia ARTEMEVA / Mikhail NAZARYCHEV (RUS) - 28 4. Diana MUKHAMETZIANOVA / Ilya MIRONOV (RUS) - 24 5. Annika HOCKE/Robert Kunkel (GER) - 22 6. Alina PEPELEVA/Roman PLESHKOV (RUS) - 20 Ice Dance: The following couples have qualified so far: 1. Avonley NGUYEN/Vadim KOLESNIK (USA) - 30 2. Elizaveta SHANAEVA/Devid NARYZHNYY (RUS) -30 3. Maria KAZAKOVA/Georgy REVIYA (GEO) - 28 4. Loicia DEMOUGEOT/Theo Le MERCIER (FRA) - 26 5. Diana DAVIS/Gleb SMOLKIN (RUS) - 26 Khudaiberdieva/Filatov will skate at JGP Egna, if they win, they'll get 15 points and will qualify (they already have 15 points). Ladies: So far these skaters have qualified: 1. Kamila VALIEVA (RUS) - 30 2. Alysa LIU (USA) - 30 3. Haein LEE (KOR) - 30 Daria Usacheva has 26 points, Ksenia Sinitsyna and Yeongjeong Park have 13, Frolova and Rino Matsuike have 11. Men: Tally so far: 1. Andrei MOZALEV (RUS) - 30 2. Yuma KAGIYAMA (JPN) - 28 3. Daniil SAMSONOV (RUS) - 26 4. Shun SATO (JPN) - 26 5. Artur DANIELIAN (RUS) - 26 Those who'll compete in Egna have: 15 point (Gumennik), 11 points (Yablokov, Grassl) First tie-breaker is a gold medal, second tie-breaker is the highest combined scores for both events, so Shun is pretty safe (wiki says he qualified). @madraykin compiled the possibilites for JGP Egna (thank you): (I am really bad at math so correct me if I have written anything wrong. Thank you in advance)
Paskud
This week were regionals in Japan. Kinayu Yokoi (Yuhana's younger sister) landed 3a. According to protocols it was rotated. Not clean skate tho. Great potential, bad coach. *sobs* Hana also attempted her 3a, but fell. Landed at least one in warm up. podium was 1. Hana Yoshida 2. Nana Araki 3. yuzuangel
Kamila Valieva is really a beautiful skater, and her 4T is not bad. I am really curious to see how she will score against Alysa if both are clean (well, I mean no falls/pops).
Paskud
(A bit late, but) Rion Sumiyoshi announced that she will skip rest of the season due to right ankle injury. She had to skip regionals so now it isn't possible for her to go to Japan Junior Nats.

Toe pick is not exactly light but it's not going from hip high either, and it doesn't look too muscled. At least as good as half the men's quads.
