tragic 4 lutz brothers

in 2019-20 THEY'LL BE THE BLESSED 4LZ BROTHERS, I'm speaking this into existence...oh, and their flip will be 100% fine

And add Boyang to the blessed 4Lz brothers, too:tumblr_inline_n18qrbDQJn1qid2nw:

Edit: I'm still surprised that Kolyada is not at COR this season... Why?!

maybe because he's not the Nats champ?

but he was silver after Maxim, and Maxim is retired so technically it should have gone to Misha...instead they went for Samarin...

then again, Anna, who's the sr ladies champion, isn't in RC either, they went for Sasha...I wonder if it means that there will be some more push for Sasha and Samarin rather than Anna (and Alina) and Misha...

Last year, Yuzu broke the curse of non-gold at the first GP comp so this year, well and truly the Canadian silver curse should be sorted!

But pleeeeze skating god, do not ask for sacrifice of a living GOAT to break the curse...:13877886:

Let's remember there's a double curse for SC:

for Yuzu: Canadian silver curse

for all Men: SC gold doesn't win GPF:tumblr_inline_ncmiffG34Z1rpglid: I think it started in 2012-13... tho it could also be that the SC gold couldn't win GPF because he wasn't Yuzu, but if Yuzu is the SC gold then there won't be such a curse in place:biggrin:

Seriously, the quad Lutzifer trio Yuzu, Boyang and Kolyada is my favorite in the men's event. Love the quality of their jumps (take-off, height, distance), love their skating style and I love them as characters. All three. Fingers crossed that they all get back to their very best and share the podiums.

I had the impression that Cipres/ James were taking time off. Something about him coaching her on some reality show??

That's why they didn't want SA or SC. The latter GPs are fine. I think they hoped for NHK because it's the last one. Ofc France was a given.

The only thing that comes to my mind is that maybe Kolyada wanted a competition with less pressure. At Rostelecom he'd be against Vincent Zhou - and he'd be expected to win. His assignments are actually very good, if he doesn't mess up, she should get 2 silvers, or even gold if Yuzu messes up. The only other person who could beat him is, I think, Nam. He's not going against Samarin or Junhwan or or Aliev or Kvitelashvili or Keegan.

well, last year the people also said he should win or get a silver when the assigment were out and we know what happened... it's wide open, really.

NO. I need Max and Yuzu peptalk in the Eurosport studio in Torino. That has to happen.

Edit: And of course I wish good results for Yuzu in both GPs :grouphug:
