Remembering Denis Ten

She posted a tiny D10 on his 25th birthday:

Truly. My heart goes out to Denis' family, friends, coaches, training mates, and fans.

I still can't believe this is real.

Just read the news when I went back home from work. Still can't believe he passed away for car mirrors. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

This is dreadful news - to be killed for such a reason- desperately sorry for his family and friends.

Too young. Just too young.  I don't understand it and I will never understand it, why people have to lose their lives over literally NOTHING.

So much agree with you. This was particularly senseless but it happens to so many.

Absolutely devastating...Though I never followed Denis closely, it is heartbreaking for this to have happened to anyone and for such a meaningless reason.

Condolences to his family, friends, and coaches.

I just found out this afternoon... This is just so heartbreaking. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and the skating community.... I don't know what to say. :(

After what happened to Denis, I think it's important to rmb many things can't be taken for granted. We complain about bad music choice today, terrible costume tmr, how a skater should change this and that etc., but we can never see things like this would come. Some 'disappointing' performance we want to forget today might be their LAST skate. I swear from now on before throwing any critical words, I would keep in mind how every skate, regardless good or bad, is very important to the skater and should be treasured.

So very sad and no words to truly express my feelings.  My heart and prayers go out to Denis’s family and friends. :sadPooh:
