[2018] World Championships Ladies Short Program

Mouth dropped open twice today. When Carolina scored 80, and then again when they had Alina come in 2nd. She did have that iffy landing on the Lo though so I guess understandable.

But Satoko was the winner of the day for me. Granted her 3T looked UR, and her jumps weren't as impressive as the others, but her performance and flow on the ice was what captured me the most today. Happy for you Satton!

Okay, Shin decided to play nice and not go hard on UR (though he did call Satton), instead the man focused on edges. Guess we'll have to call him "!man" going forward?  :headdesk2:

Well, she skated cleaner....

Well I agree with that pcs, just a bit surprise judge give her higher pcs than Keatlyn.

Overall, the placement for top 4 is correct. I would give 74 for Alina, 72 for Satoko (let's be real, the lutz was UR and the toe was close to <<),  70 for Keatlyn, 67 for Wakaba, 65 for Maria and Bradie. But of course, I'm not judge :slinkaway:

He might be saving the carrots for the Long...:slinkaway:

I just got back home Caro scored 80 and beat out Alina what is happening  I'm not complaining though

they gave Waka lower ss that Mirai:waffle:

And Alina's pcs are kinda funny, her lowest mark is in TR, of all conponents!:slinkaway: And apparently her ss are ad good ad Satoko's and 1 whole point better than Wakaba:shrug:

Waka's face at her score was kinda dark. .. I'm feeling a bit gloomy tbh... hurry, someone tell me Wakaba is totally going to slay in FS! :snonegai:

I am sad for Wakaba. But this SP was actually less depressing than usual.

Wakababy, kill them all in FS!!!

It will be a real battle for bronze :slinkaway:

Amano is the assistant tech specialist. Well, that explains much.

Also, J2 is Catherine L. TAYLOR. I do not know her nationality. US, CAN, AUS, UK?

Petition to make Amano the one and only tech panel guy and have him score PCs as well lol

so let's say the current standings were unchanged after the fs,in that case Japan would have the 3 spots back, right?

*i'm not saying that they will be or that i want them to be,i'm just looking at possible scenarios...
