I didn't believe Junhwan could close the gap and go to PyeongChang but he did! I'm so proud!

Tho poor June Hyoung, he must be feeling so disappointed

 

question: will CJH go to junior worlds but not to senior worlds? that's what the wiki page of Korean Nats tells me

So happy for Junhwan... and glad he went back to his old and comfortable Il Postino program. I loved that and I think it gave him a level of comfort at this most crucial competition. He showed great competitive spirit here.. and Brian was super excited at the boards, haha! Excited that he gets to go to a home Olympics.

Late for this but I am very happy for Jun Hwan, he is back in a great form!  I see a lot of improvement in his skating, and finally those 3As are better than ever before.

At the same time I feel sorry for June Hyeong, popping and falling cost him so many points...his condition seemed to be much better in the first half of the season. Before the competition he had a big lead after two rounds of the qualification events and I thought he could make the Team but my prediction was so wrong  

 

Congratulations to Dabin and Hanul too for making the Team. It's great that Korean ladies have two spots and even though You and Eunsoo are too young to compete at the Olympics this year, the performances of Dabin and Hanul will definitely inspire and motivate them and the younger generation of Korean ladies in the future. The next four years are going to be very interesting!
