I'm trying to catch up with the last 24 hours :13877886:

Jun Hwan skated so well, congratulations! It's good to see him back healthy!

After two rounds, Lee leads in the qualification by about 20 points now, so unless he completely bombs his the free skate, he will remain in the first place after Nationals and will go to the Olympics. Cha may win the this event though.

I enjoyed So Youn's SP the most in the ladies, she's such a wonderfully elegant and refined skater. She's getting her form back, but the gap between her and Kim are 20 points which is too big...It's just such a pity that she's been injured for that long.

What’s SK qualifications for the Olympics? Winning the Nationals?

cumulative points over the ranking competition in july(?), the one in december, and nationals. going into nationals dabin was leading from the senior ladies (young, eunsoo and yelim were all ahead, but none of them are age eligible), followed by hanul. soyoun would have had to beat hanul by 20/25 points to take the spot, but she's been injured and ended up behind her here too. so the team will pretty much definitely be dabin and hanul for the olympics.

for the men, june-hyoung leads jun-hwan by around 30 points, if i recall correctly, because of jun-hwan's injury he hasn't been performing well, and june-hyoung regained his form recently after his own injuries. he made up about eight of those in the short program, but will have to beat june-hyoung by a considerable margin to take the mens spot.

Jun Hwan said that he is no longer in pain and back to himself.

How many can go? I read somewhere that they can have three men and three ladies cus SK is hosting it. Idk if that is true.

two ladies and one man. its good that jun-hwan is back to good health, but he really has his work cut out for him after all of the points he lost in the ranking competitions - both of which june-hyoung won.

Thank you so much for info.

So three of Brian students are officially going to the Olympics. He going to be a busy man.

Congrats to Cha Jun Hwan and You Young - 2x National Champs! And You Young at 13!! Wow!

Jun Hwan is clearly the best skater (so glad he's no longer injured and hopefully fully recovered) but if he goes, then I feel bad for June Hyoung, who was basically gunning for it all season long and was the one to get the spot at Nebelhorn in the first place! But personally, I'd like to see Jun Hwan there! Looks like it's confirmed and he's going! Sucks for June Hyoung, but so glad for CJH (and Brian!)!
