I've been catching up on FS, and I noticed Sota Yamamoto isn't up for any assignments, senior or junior. Any news of him?

He's just returned to the ice recently, iirc. He turned senior, had 2 assignments for 2016-2017 GPs but WD due to injury. I don't think he's enable to participate ịn any Senior B in the first half of this season, still waiting for him for Japan Nationals this year

Thanks, he was such a promising skater, it'd be a shame if that injury and its consequences cost him a successful career. If he returns, he'll have a major job cut out for him, climbing in the ranks.
