hopeandlegacy2018 Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Kaori is the cheer leader of Team Japan haha
hopeandlegacy2018 Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Never expected Shoma to be the focus of quint jumps, But here we are, Shoma and quints, this beats Yuzu and 4A as a more exciting topic to casuals for sure. Kudos to Olympic channel or whoever came up with the idea.

Kudos to Olympic channel or whoever came up with the idea. All he said that he might try it out in practice and he also said in his latest blog entry that the focus will be on other jumps. I wouldn't take the quint talk seriously at all, since it doesn't even have a base value now.

Or maybe some other youngsters are, or Keegan
hopeandlegacy2018 Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 The speed! I wish speed could be rewarded. Some skaters are so slow, and some don’t even bother to skate much, just pose.
hoodie axel Posted April 19, 2019 Posted April 19, 2019 Speed is rewarded in skating skills. Unless you mean "speed were actually rewarded".

anski Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Very surprised about Marin. She’s so talented and could achieve so much so it’s annoying her own fed isn’t supporting her.
SparkleSalad Posted April 25, 2019 Posted April 25, 2019 Quoted from the above thread: Quote Shoma intends to try new things during his training camps for the upcoming season as well. “I kept in mind that I need to do my best next season. a feeling of renewal came to me during my training.” “I’m very happy to be honored as one among these great athletes. since I think my results last season were not very good, I need to work harder next season to stand among these athletes that have accomplished so many amazing things.” https://www.daily.co.jp/general/2019/04/25/0012275061.shtml Shoma will be participating in “secret training camps” for a longer period this upcoming off season to work on his jumps and prepare for the 2019-2020 season. the location of his training camp hasn’t been revealed but he intends to tackle new things. https://www.sponichi.co.jp/sports/news/2019/04/25/kiji/20190425s00079000349000c.html
