I say it went downhill with Brian :tumblr_inline_mzx91uuLRI1r8msi5:Skate Canada turned into the truest of train wrecks after News on him being in hospital was announced :13877886:

Oh that’s true! :tumblr_inline_n18qr5AMus1qid2nw:

I'm glad I didnt wake up early to watch this mess. You know how bad it was when we have 170+ as the FS winner, no one break 90+ TES.

First of all, I'm heartbroken for Daniel. Such a terrible fall and I'm so shocked when I saw the video. I always thought all skaters has that great ability to endure the pain, but seeing him like that, I know its must be really bad. And Daniel has such bad luck, he lost his boots earlier this year. Pray for a speedy recovery. I want to see him at Olympic.

None of the men have good skate. And IMO, Boyang should have won the free, or in 2nd. His score is fine, this is not a good program and he's far from his best, its the others had generous score. Nathan's fs is a flashback from Javi's FS at COC, Pchan's at SC and Yuzu's at ACI. His PCS is lol. I can't with Jackie Wong " its low as expected". How is 87+ consider as low for that skate ? It make me wonder how high they want when he has good FS ? 95 or 97 ? I still remember JW  throw shade at Mai Mihara 70 pcs at JO when she had clean FS. But when Nathan ( or US skaters) get high pcs for flawed skate, of course he keep all the silent.

I wonder how Boyang could skate on both  sprained ankles ? what kind of painkiller they gave him ???

At this rate, I have no hope for GPF. The media play is gonna be chaotic. Maybe its good for Yuzu that he's stay out of this mess. I know after yesterday's SP, many people crown Nathan as OGM, but with today's performance, its prove that nothing is fixed. We couldn't even know who's gonna win after the SP, let alone 3 months before the Oly start.

I hopped in here first before going through the men's FS videos, so thankfully I know to avoid a couple of heart-attack inducing frees.

My heart goes out to baby brother Boyang. Skating on two sprained ankles, not fully healed, and he still manages to not fall. What a competitor! And that solo quad toe was magnificent! So now, I hope he rests and heals up-you've done more than enough to prove that you've got nerves of steel, holding yourself together like that. Please hold yourself together for Beijing, don't worry too much about PyeongChang, just treat it like your worlds-great if you place, but not a biggie if you don't, this season PCS scores have been pretty unkind, but then what can we do. You've done a lot for Chinese men's skating already.

Same for Adam-glad to see him in the GPF. Not all artistry is dead then in GPF. Hope he also heals up, though nerves of steel too for just...popping stuff back in and going. He fooled me.  I hope that when he goes to US Nats, he lands that 4Lutz baby! He has a glorious lutz to begin with, and a 4lutz at US nats would be a perfectly appropriate middle-finger gesture to people who wrote him off due to his age or his performance style.  And it is nice to seen knee bend on landings at times, ahem.

And Sergei did well too (scores aside, that's another issue)- so we'll have the uncles well represented in the GPF.

And Nate...well, that was pretty-yeah. Let's not go there. But I thought they learned something last season from his boot issues-to always have a pair of spare, broken in boots! You don't just...switch one shoe and not the other, or switch one blade and not the other. All new boots/shoes etc will take getting used to, and wearing two shoes from 2 different pairs is just odd, never mind blades wear down etc. The Chen family boot issues looks to continue in him, I guess.  As for his scores...well, he had a large enough lead going into the free that only a healthy healed up, 4lutz jumping, no other errors Boyang had any chance from SA men's group.

Sorry if this has been already shared. I'm not sure whether I found this on twitter or here. I'm not sleepy but probably I need to sleep...

Is he implying that Nate's also injured? Cause if he is....I'm going to go burn some incense and then pray that the curse ends at Olys, and everyone is healthy and happy again.

Also, why was Nathan apologizing to Raf in the K&C?

He apologized for the performance not being very well :tumblr_m7etfqA8wS1qb1380:

LOL - what is "very revealing"?  Raf said he sees problems with other skaters (which is kind of a strange thing to say)  and Nathan has his own stuff to deal with. There is no indication of injury. I think Raf should keep his "observations" about other skaters to himself. I must admit I'm getting tired of the "Nathan and his skates" excuses.

I’ve already gone to my nearest Ksitigarbha shrine to pray for those who have been injured. He is basically a guardian of children but these skaters are younger than me so I don’t care if he’s a bit baffled by my wishes.

As for Raf’s comment on Nathan, I have no idea. His program is physically demanding but to have to skate in a situation like that (at home, hearing/seeing other skaters injuries before his turn having boot problem himself) is mentally demanding as well. They might have other problems prior to competition.

Yes, he hasn't revealed anything here

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to call Abe no Seimei from the grave! We need his magic from the start of GP season and I'm here to tell you, there was something about this g*dd*mn season! A world of never-ending injuries! You can always see the pain, day and night!

*drop the beat

Join me, everyone! Let's dance the anti-voodoo dance!!
