Wait I thought that Inside Skating tweet said he was picking up his own sparkles. Or was that information incorrect? Would make more sense than bugs.

And one of the judges found that to be a costume violation? Yeah, that’s reasonable. ETA: someone else’s sparkles that is.

It definitely looked more like sequins but they were quite scattered for sequins - Yulia mentioned in commentary (apparently) that it may have come from some of the gifts thrown down that weren't wrapped (though I don't know if she concretely explained this was the reason)

He wouldn't have been bargaining with the lady at the boards if it were his own soarkles, it sounded as of he was doing them a favor... IDK.
