The last time he was in Russia was in 2014 in Sochi, I guess poster maker was feeling nostalgic.

Nod to the previous Olympics?

Eurosport, crap as their programming on the linear channels looks like for Rostelecom, may still have the ISU livestream available for all the events, but that’s small comfort to me as it won’t have commentary.

I have come to enjoy doing those translations of the commentary, but since the Men’s LP won’t air live here, that’s not gonna happen. There will be a recap program, though, but that’s never as interesting as live comments.

Eurosport's livestream is 99.9 % certain at this point (we'll know for sure by tomorrow, but you can see all eight events listed in the Eurosport player if you do a search for figure skating. Every event shows with an icon of the channel, E1, E2... or just E, which can't really mean anything except the livestream).

At least that's good news for those of us who bought an annual subscription and don't want to mess with installing VPN and whatnots.  But, yeah, I'd rather still have all the events live on the E1 and E2 channels with commentary.

I think we live in the same country. The Netherlands? Is this Eurosport online or at home? Paid or free?

Eurosport Player can be accessed different ways: website, app on iOS (probably android as well) and appleTV.

You need a subscription to watch anything on the Player, though, because it's a separate entity from the TV channels E1 and E2, although it does give access to E1 and E2... but a lot more than just the streams of those two channels.

https://nl.eurosportplayer.com/en/schedule    just search for figure skating. It lists all events on E1, E2, and E (which presumably is the ISU livestream).

http://www.eurosport.nl/tvschedule.shtml   i.e. the normal Eurosport website, only lists the events that are on E1 and E2, the actual television channels... useless, considering the little coverage we get in the Netherlands.

Awesome. I'll check it out.:thanks:

Anyone in UK with Eurosport player they've got the whole thing listed - maybe I won't cancel my subscription after all.  Wouldn't kill them to put it on E1/2 but at least it will be shown on the player.
