I didn't say you can't say it. I'm just saying something seems more wrong than just an injury. I mean, new WR then this?

He may have aggravated it. Who knows. Look at Boston.

So cute clapping on the side with pooh :POOH:

Javi kinda saved that one, in the end. We'll see...

Because one person expected a new WR, does not mean everyone did.

Two, we know he had knee issues. This injury thing isn't something being "made up" now as some sort of excuse. Plenty of us warned of possible issues with the FS.

Three, yes, please, let it be a bad day and his usual Canadian bombing because the alternative is way worse.

javi did ok. He's probably thinking, as he gasps for breath, why you send me here this early, brian?!

No offense but the whole "he's injured" reason doesn't seem right to use here. He did great yesterday, why was today so different??

He somehow has the ability to perform brilliantly with injuries. See Boston as an example

It's not surprising at all. I think nailing SP has consumed much of his resources he has now.

Well at Boston his SP was almost a WR and he melted down on his FP bc of his injury getting worse. The perfect SP could trigger more pain bc his knee could probably overuse. SP is the 1st skate after all. It's understandable to have more pain afterwards.

He was off before it tbh. No power in his arm movements.

yep there's this lack of intensity in his seimei tonight. But pop today cleans tomorrow and forevermore i hope...

I wish I could focus on Yuzu, but I'm so utterly disappointed with Javi's program... that shouldn't be allowed to win, ever, no matter how many quads and whatnots.

and shorter programs require less effort than a long... you can get through a short with pain... longs are harder to do...

I think we'll have to wait until his first GP before we can say more about his current state, its still a bit too early and he has to get used to his programs since they have changed a bit. Also by then the knee should be healed (fingers crossed)
