A small side note about ACI. I went through immigration/border today at the airport, and told the officer that I was going to ACI. The next question I was asked was, "You're a figure skater? Are you going to compete?" I held myself back from asking "How many other foreigners have arrived stating ACI as their reason for coming today?" And the hotels over here are pretty much all booked out! o_O

    Lol. Tiny little ACI has become big event for SC and more particularly, Montreal! It's the Yuzu effect. 

     

    Hope everyone enjoys Montreal a bit before the competition.. the weather is great.... and then, well,  the competition too!!!!

     

    Just when i thought Mai had ninja'd out of Japan there's a photo. Mai looks so happy there. Does ANA fly to Montreal? I could see their logo on the dividers, that's all.

    How exciting! I've only ever attended a handful of competitions, but whenever I did it made me feel great to know that I'm among fellow figure skating fans. It feels like being part of a special club lol.
