If he wants to promote FS in Spain he has to ride the impetus of that Olympic medal, and if he's going to semi retire he can't do that from Canada - he's got to be there in Madrid, doing his ice show and exhibitions and the public coaching sessions.

This. I'm disappointed—personally I wished he would stay on coaching at TCC—but he probably has to strike while the iron is hot in terms of his popularity in Spain. I'm sure Brian will keep the door open for him if he decides to go back. To become a great coach, I think he would need a longer apprenticeship, but he's young and has plenty of time. He's seemed super burned out for the last year, but he made it to his goal. He needs to decompress.

Javi looking especially handsome :tumblr_inline_mzx8zzarLt1r8msi5:

I love how this is a country thread, but is basically about Javi:laughing:

Well, he deserves it for being such a good friend to Yuzu

Apart from Javi, there’s little to discuss. Sara and Kirill, perhaps - but dancers are something few of us understand anything about.

I understand and hope Javi has inspired enough youngsters so there will be more to discuss in the future.
