I like Loena's Madonna choice, Frozen is an exciting song. And it is very unusual to pick a piece from pop music, especially in the Olympic season.

 

I also think Sabre Dance suits Petrov's style. Great choice, too!

Thanks for the news. I don´t understand Spanish so what he said on the video is unclear to me. Do you or anyone else know is he using the version that was linked here? I looked up the song in Youtube and found many different kind of arrangements. For example Elvis and Frank Sinatra have recorded The Impossible Dream, but Javi has already used songs sung by them. They sound very different form that version of the musical.

There's even a famous one (well, at least in France) in french by belgian legend Jacques Brel - well I guess there's no chance that he'll chose this one, but, one girl can dream, isn't it ?

 

P.S : oh no that was deemed to happen, I'm once again lost in a Brel loop... and now I want desperately to see Yuzu skate one day to "La chanson des veiux amants", which will never happen, and that just makes me sad. Sorry for being

I think Man of La Mancha is a good choice... very Javi.

 

Shoma has the dramatic and powerful and tear inducing turandot.

Javi has powerful and inspirational impossible dream. 

 

Both have strong olympic worthy music... what the frick have the other top guys chosen?!!! yuzu, patrick, nathan, boyang.... choose wisely...

Javi probably chooses a version with more Spanish spice but I loved Brel´s version very much. The other song of two old lovers is just beautiful, full of emotion, thanks for that. French music is really a great idea for Yuzu, a new experience for him. Hopefully some day.

I agree. It is a song with positive energy which will carry him on the ice. He will fly and shine. The thing that it is based on a well known Spanish story of Don Quixote is also a good thing for a Spanish guy.

Yes and no....I think his arms and limbs are not quite Yuzu's yet, but who knows what he'll develop into. 

Personally, the one I find closest is Shimada....though recently I think his limbs are flailing a bit more.
