Tea party in 2015 was in ABC broadcast.

This year ABC haven't aired their version yet.

The quality of the broadcast wasn't high, on the contrary but that's a separate issue to that of how much they show Yuzuru. Yuzuru is the official headliner of the entire show. It's actually not an empty 'title'. This transfers onto the broadcast too and there's not too much of him there at all, on the contrary, Kobe could have had more. In both the OP and the finale, he is the focal point of the choreography and yet that's not really what we got. It doesn't help the TV audience to get a feel of the programs and what is actually going on (as seen by the disparity of audio and visual).

The problems in the broadcast are definitely there but it's not related to the amount of Yuzuru's screentime but rather an overall poorly done job.

 

Yep, which is kind of why I'd have even sacrificed to the fickle screen Gods some Yuzu screentime if it was the tradeoff required for actually getting properly good camera angles and editing done. Because my issue with the short-changing of some skaters wasn't that Yuzu took too much screentime (please, needs moar neko!Yuzu being extra) but that the screentime others had was so poorly done sometimes it made it all the worse. I mean, couldn't they have framed poor Mai when she was next to Yuzu a bit better instead of just seeing half of her? Or, you know, not focused on a singer when a skater was about to do something interesting?

off season is so busy with all the streaming, but I am not complaining
