i wish i could be at every competition and show. And have a time turner so i can go back in time and teletransport myself to past competitions.

Sorry for late post but I was at the 1st Kobe show, was too tired then to write. Apologies I couldn't sneak pics or anything, believe me if I'd known we'd be given cat's eye I'd have tried harder or obtained a spy cam

A lot of it has been reported already! Cat!yuzu was slinky and cute, it's like every body has x degrees of range of motion and yuzu has 1.5x LOL, Johnny was good at cat's eye too. The ending pose with Javi was so cool and a surprise.

Chopin was just unbelievably dominating in presence, the rink was too small for it. I had a good angle for the 4-3 and I kept checking if he had enough room for it I can see how it would affect the 4Lo too.

I don't know whether because it was a quieter piano piece or what but during Chopin the growl of his skates was so audible to me, skating skills

During the finale I had a fleeting thought that Beethoven didn't seem like a bad fit for Yuzu, haha. And those shirts had blue ruffles that looked better in motion. In stills, not so much.

There was a camera man taking photos in my section, they'll hopefully be out somewhere, maybe in the photobook. Also saw at least three video cameras.

There was a loooong wait between cat's eye and chopin. Must be hard to manage the warm up between the opening and performing...especially with the two necklace incidents LOL.

Yuzu ummed so much when he got the mic it was cute.

 

Other things: Stephane and Shizuka were other highlights, really liked Kaori's speed and jumps. Plu's non-sex bomb program was great too. There were so many outstanding skaters, japan and FaOI is blessed. So looking forward to the broadcast.

 

I also went to Yuzuruha jinja, it was very convenient to Kobe so a lot of people were there. There was a line for Yuzuru's ema, LOL. I was too late to get a Yuzumaru and now it's gone until fall

LOL, I'm sure this is not a surprise but the ticket situation was madness, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to go until a few days before!

Busy weekend - and I have no hope of catching up with the thread- just hope there is something tomorrow from the broadcast.

Speaking of tickets, how were the tickets sold for the shows? Were they all sold through raffle? Or was it first come first serve? Was there a way for foreigners to avail of them? Just asking for future reference 😁

RE: how Yuzu will be acting/dancing in Niigata... It will all depend on the opening song is my theory. So, my hope is it'll be something tame because we won't be able to see any broadcast... Bring on the koi dance!

I didn't come into the process until later but I think there was at least one pre-sale lottery. I tried to get tickets through the open sales, but they were gone within a few minutes for Kobe  this explains the process. You don't pick your seats by the way, but can still get seats that are together up to a certain number. I had to go through the aftermarket. It helps a lot to have someone in japan who can help as I didn't really see any way to ship tickets overseas.
